anything specific until you posted about the prophet. Thank you. It is quite beautiful. I am seriously considering it.
Believe it or not, but I take Walmart brand Onion and Garlic and mix it with a jar of Walmart brand
Mixing the two sauces togeter gives it the right amount of garlic and veggies. Our family is Italian on both sides, but we all agree for a quick jar sauce instead of homemade, this does the trick! YUM
Find a lawyer, find out where you would stand - sm
in the event of a divorce/separation, regarding custody, house, etc. Custody was my main concern as well since I lied on numerous occasions about the finances. Where I am I was told that would not factor in to the custody at all. I can prove that I am my kids caregiver 90% of the time, I ferry they around everywhere, help with homework, get ready for school, meet at busstop, etc. I could also point out my husband is an alcoholic, self treats his depression with alcohol instead of getting proper medical treatment, has threatend to kill himself (or me) numerous times (though he always says he was joking and did not mean it.....that is his standard answer to everything, or that he never said that). Now I do love him enough to deal with all that because deep down inside my DH is full of it, luckily for me, he has never followed through on anything he says he is going to do. But I thought my confession would be the straw that broke it all and send him over the edge. He still is angry with me, I am sure he will be for a long time, but is keeping it together pretty well, though he has said the stress was going to kill him, now he know how I felt I guess. I am sorry your husband is such a smuck. I feel like a dog sometimes with the sex demands, have to do it the night before he goes out of town....he will be traveling a lot for work for the next 3-4 months, which I am more than glad about, much calmer here then, though it gets tiring for me but as he is not really helping much right now it really won't be much of a change. As for yours going on 5 day weekends.....have you considered having him followed, sounds like there may be some infidelity afoot, and if so that would strengthen your case in the event of a divorce and custody I would think. Sounds a bit fishy going out until 1 a.m. and his frequent trips. My DH fishes too, but he goes 2 miles from here with one of our male neighbors, they shoot the breeze and he gets to unwind some which I encourage. Very rare weekends with a buddy of his, I am talking once every 2 years, which again is fine with me. Start keeping track of all you do, when he is home, where he supposedly goes, with whom, etc. He cannot show he will be a responsible dad if he is never there or never interacts with his own kids. My DH would probably suggest I take our older daughter and he the younger, spliting them up, he has the same perception, the oldest is mine, the youngest is his. Our younger daughter is much easier to deal with, our older daughter drives him nuts and she is only 10. My younger one (8) knows something has been going one though, and worries we will divorce, which she does not want. She is very perceptive for her years. I hope that if you do go the divorce route, which would actually probably be best in your situation, that it all works out for you and you get your fair share of assets, etc. Make sure before you do anything like that you have all your ducks in a row, so talk to divorce lawyer. I talked to one for 45 minutes, cost me $160 but was worth it to set my mind at ease. Good luck.
Have you tried Walmart?
x
Yes, Walmart has said you
could get your money back for the recalled products. And even if they are different products from China, you could try. Walmart needs to know it matters where they get food from. When buying pet dishes, I suppose we need to make sure they aren't from China or they might have lead.

Thanks so much! I just couldn't seem...
to find it.  I used to look at it quite often, but I hadn't in a while.  Thanks, again!
Couldn't help it....
I haven't figured out if he is a moron or if he really can't believe what is happening. I would like to hear some background information on him. I really think he could have his own show!! Too funny...
Tried but couldn't -- sm
I discussed this at length with a bankruptcy attorney. If I filed for banruptcy (have a lot of old debt from personal issues before we were married), now while married this could affect his credit which is perfect. Instead, what the attorney told me was to fly under the radar as most things don't stay on a credit report more than 7 years depending upon your state. He told me that once a debt is tranferred around from agency to agency it gets very difficult to validate the debt (and the collection agency's computer printout does not count). He told me never to talk to them by phone. First written response is always to ask for validation and if you get a computer printout, ask for specifics like dates, times original amounts etc. Then if they can actually prove it, they may offer a settlement. I have settled a lot of old debt for way less than the collection amount by negotiating and insisting they take it off my credit. If you want more info, feel free to e-mail. :)
Wow, couldn't have said it better myself...
You go girl!
Couldn't believe this...
My husband said he heard that any employee working for Lowe's would be fired if they said, "Merry Christmas" to a shopper, for fear of offending anyone within earshot.  Do you notice now everyone will only say, "Happy Holidays"?  You never hear the word "Christmas" anymore.  I'm not offended when I hear someone mention Kwanza or Hannakuh.  Why does the word "Christmas" send so many people reeling??
I just couldn't ask for more!

nobody said you couldn't eat it
make you think twice. Nobody said anything about regulations or telling you to exercise. Speaking of coffee, maybe you should switch to decaf. Geez

Upstate NY here. My crocuses are in full bloom, daffodils poking up. And warm, soft winds carressing my shoulders when I go out without a coat or sweater!!!! Too bad we're supposed to start getting rain, but it's nice to know this is the trend now, not like January thaw!
I couldn't have said it better - well put

happened with a Great Dane or a Great Pyranees or Lab, etc.? Are you saying these dogs aren't capable of killing or mauling? I don't think the old man was their master. I think the pits belonged to the daughter and her boyfriend. Unfortunately this happened and it shouldn't have. These dogs for some reason chose to attack. I don't know or you why. I would like to know but we will never know. I just don't believe that dogs attack for no reason. It don't make it right for them to attack but I think there is always a reason. Something provokes them.

I guess the daughter and boyfriend thought the dogs would not hurt the man but something happened there that day and a dog should never kill a person. But something happened. These dogs were not quite as stable as thought to be or either the man wasn't stable enough to be staying in the house with the dogs. You are right you never know what the dogs will find to be threatening and something must have made these dogs feel threatened.

I take every precaution I can with my pit bull. He is not mean or vicious but he has that protective instinct for his family and that is what I have to protect others from. But so do German Shepards, Dobermans, etc. My dog also looks for me to tell him when it is okay. When someone is okay. When we introduce him to people we tell him it is okay CJ. He/she is nice. And we let him sniff them and then he will go have a seat and just chill. He don't want to hurt anyone he just wants to make sure nobody hurts his family. As soon as he knows we are fine he is fine and goes on about his business. But that is only if a visitor wants to meet CJ and then we will let them but otherwise he will stay in his fenced in back yard. I try to be as responsible as possible.
Probably most of us couldn't. I do think the men are the

I love it all ~ steaks, roasts, burgers, chicken, turkey.

I always remember Ron White saying we didn't get to the top of the food chain by eating carrots.
I definitely couldn't do it
I love my meat. I don't eat a lot of red meat, but I love a good hamburger or steak now and then, and we eat chicken a lot. My daughter, who's 15 has been a vegetarian for about two years. I don't know how she does it. It helped her lose 20 pounds, though, and I give her a lot of credit.
Just heard - Walmart is in.
It was just announced on CNN that Walmart is going to acknowledge Christmas.
Walmart/Christmas
Okay, so Walmart has brought Christmas back. That will make some customers happy, but on another note, they've ticked a lot of customers off by doing away with layaway.
walmart/christmas
I don't think I've ever used it. I'm with you, I don't like standing in line! lol Anyway, I don't remember why they are closing it. It was in the paper here a while back. I just feel bad for those that rely on it for Christmas. One thing I thought was cool, from a friend, every time she goes to Walmart she puts $5-$20 on a gift card (same card every time)and uses that at Christmas. Unfortunately, I think I would use it up and not save it for Christmas! lol
I had an old guy do that to me in WalMart one time
I was coming out of an aisle and I always stop and look because sometimes other people just don't.  Well, I almost ran into this older man because I didn't see him right away.  He looked right at me, rammed his cart into mine, swore under his breath and went on his merry way.
You shop at Walmart too?

WalMart decorator
Used Wal Mart for my daughter's bridal shower cake.....did not have that problem....Where do you live......that was really uncalled for.....
WalMart Rage
I have a thought! We could sell tickets to the shopping "encounters" and make a bundle! That way, we could all afford to shop wherever we want for whatever we want when this is all over.

Actually, I don't really think this is restricted to just Christmas season - I have had some nuts "accost" me at other stores too, especially Costco, during all the seasons. The most annoying and aggresive was an old man (looked in his late 70s) who wanted my space in line and kept "ramming" my basket trying to cut into line. He had already tried it on two other people and "lost" out in another line - I had been watching him. My husband told me to let him go in front of us and suddenly a light came on in my head and I lost it. I turned around and asked him if he was crazy or just rude. Then, a man behind me told me to "comeon, just let him go" and then I REALLY lost it. I told the crazy guy to keep it up and I would call the police on him for battery. He just looked at me and looked at me. I don't know about you guys, but sometimes enough is enough. I am old now and tired and so sick of people like him. Why should I "keep the peace" at my own expense when that is exactly what most of the people like him expect? Besides, it was "empowering" to tell him to bug off. I don't look for trouble, but I don't have to be a doormat either and I don't intend to. Maybe one of those people that were taken away to the hospital were like me. Hope that doesn't happen to me too, but hey you never know. From now on I do not ever intend to be intimidated by rude mean people again. Even if they punch me! I will fight back. Guess it wouldn't hurt to make sure that I have something substantial in my basket to use just in case he is bigger than me?

Why didn't someone call security before the problem got out of control?

Where we live sometimes there is WalMart rage out in the parking lot too over spaces! Yet another reason to never go there! I guess we should shop where they have the most security to keep you safe from the other customers.
Walmart here has the music CD for $10 (sm)
Not sure if they have the actual cartoon...I love how it puts the season back in the right perspective. I also think the fact that I have been watching it around Christmas since I was a kid has something to do with it helping me feel "Christmasy". The CD is really good though-I've seen the cartoon so many times I can picture it while I'm listening to the music and doing other things.

Sorry, pic did not upload.  I'll keep trying at it.

LOL---Walmart:-) That's good. NM

I don't know but after I posted this I went to Walmart
and got this supposedly comfortable panty that cinches waist and tucks tummy. Looks comfortable. Only 7 bucks. Still too chicken to try it. Now I bid on e bay that body shaper thing like the one on HSN so it makes me 10 pounds lighter. Looks uncomfortable but will try. Of course, I just gave up and am getting size 10/11 jeans now. Going to auction off my size 5 jeans. I am torn between being comfortable and me and looking good and uncomfortable. Don't you just love midlife crises? BTW: I look at vintage clothing from the 80s back to 50s. Nobody could ever fit in those 36-24-36 garments. They had to have worn girdles all the time at least in the 50s, or they had some amazing way to figure out how to distribute!
No it is a PC game that you can buy at WalMart
They do make a console version but it's horrid.

if you have slow PC or laptop I would recomend The Sims Life Stories because The Sims 2 game takes up a lot of memory and requires a fast system, the Life Stories is a "lite" version and requires you to reach certain goals rather than free play. I really enjoyed Life Stories, wish they would come out with more.

here is the sims 2 deluxe edition:

Why do Walmart and Meijers have 20 or
more checkout lanes, but only 2 or 3 open at any given time?
This could happen anywhere, not just WalMart.

Walmart employee
And while EMS was trying to work on him to save his life, people were still trying to walk around them to get in the store and shop.  It is a very sad look at our society.
most stores have this, even walmart

why I shop at Walmart
to save money. I have a bottom line too, and I go where I can get the best price.

I have a neighbor who thinks Walmart is Satan too, and guess what? we caught her shopping there last week.

The medical industry should boycott companies that send our work to India, then maybe I could afford to shop at Target. :)

Shopping at Walmart
We shop at Walmart every week. Everything is much cheaper there and as the other poster said, I go there to save money. Our store is clean and the people are friendly. There is a Target directly across the street from our Walmart and there is hardly ever anyone there and the Walmart parking lot is mobbed.
I think Walmart is the Antichrist.
is truly evil. Sorry, but that's my take. I am lured in time after time by their so-called lower prices, and eats my paycheck away. It is also becoming a monopoly in my town, not many other places to even shop. I miss the old days where we at least had more of a choice.
PS: At first when the Walmarts are new, they look clean, and the employees are kind. We just had a new Superwalmart move in about half a mile from the old one. When the Walmart gets a few years old: Dirty, and nasty workers. Antichrist: Looks good at first, turns sour at the end and takes us all down with him. LOL.

After stopping off at Walmart ;)

My son says he thinks Walmart

pizza is the very best, and he is my super picky eater.  We get them often.  The pepperoni is quite greasy but you can dab off the extra grease with a paper towel.  If they have the canadian bacon thin crust, grab one and enjoy!  I recommend those above all other flavors.  Yum!

EXACTLY Wannie!-I couldn't have said it better

Couldn't care less
I couldn't care less whether someone gives me good wishes for Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Winter Solstice, or just a generic "happy holidays." I also don't care what any store decides to name their holiday decorations or sales after.

From a purely economic standpoint, it does make sense for businesses to combine holidays when they occur near each other. If they advertise only "Christmas" items, then it potentially excludes anyone who does not celebrate that holiday. The same goes for Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, etc. To market to the largest number of people, a general "holiday sale" works because each person can take from that what they want. For Christians "the holidays" in December means Christmas. For Jews it means Hanukkah. For pagans it means "Winter Solstice" (which, by the way, is where many Christmas traditions originated from, including the "Christmas" tree, but that's another story for another time).

I guess my point is that I personally feel some people make too big a deal out of things like this. There are far more important things in this world to focus one's attention on than what a store wants to call its sales.

I tend to believe the rumor he's working towards his own "Judge Larry" show, but personally I think he should take his acting skills to the Soprano's! LOL!! He's absolutely disgusting!
I had PMS so bad I couldn't stand myself let alone anyone
else. I got a great PMS pill from a chiropractor that helped a lot, and after moved from that area I would buy mega-B vitamin pills and take them. They really made a difference. Good luck and, believe me, you have a LOT of company! I had PMS long before they ever put a name on it.
Just because you couldn't get along as an intimate and
faithful couple, does not mean that you can't get along as friends. It just didn't work out in a commitment, that's all.

I sat and watched while innocent people were being dragged out of their homes in New Orleans after hurricane Katrina and all firearms taken out of their homes. These were not the gangs, the criminals running around killing people and stealing. These were law abiding citizens who had these guns to protect themselves from what obviously the cops couldn't, because most of the cops ran. I am sick to death of hearing ridiculous things said about gun laws, when those laws give you the right to protect yourself, but if it were not for the media videotaping those innocent people being handcuffed, sat on the curbs in front of their homes, while the local LAW broke the law, this would be covered up. There were so many civil and constitutional rights being violated it was sickening to watch. Their constitutional rights were being taken from them for absolutely no reason whatsoever and their homes searched like they were common criminals, while the thugs who usually run around the streets were hiding like cowards. Anyone with sense would know that it isn't the law abiders committing the crimes, it's the ones who aren't and those people will use something, ANYTHING, to kill someone if they want to, and they can always find a way to get a gun illegally. Those very people ranting and raving about gun control sure would hope for a gun if their home were being broken into and their lives or their children's lives were in jeopardy! Look at New Orleans to this day. The nuts are coming back and new gangs at that to steal from and kill tourists just for a few bucks. The police chief himself said they could not get enough police offers back in, so who do you think you would call if you were in the shoes of those living down there? You might have to look out for yourself.
