I don't know if he's ever said anything to the other kid

I didn't think to ask him but now that you mention it I will tomorrow.  This boy, however, is actually my son's best freind's brother and they really only hang out when his BF is not around and my son doesn't have anything else to do.  When they were younger his mom used to make the BF include his brother in the the things he did.

As far as letting his parents know, I asked my son if he thought I should tell them (just to see what his opinion was) and he said no. For the life of me I cant remember his reasoning.  I asked him if this boy was afraid because I said I was going to talk to his parents and he said he was. So I told him I would talk to the kid myself first before I spoke to his parents and take it from there.  I think sometimes it's easier for kid's to talk to someone other than their own parents.  I'm pretty sure I am going to talk to them though.  I would want them to let me know if it were my son.
