have you ever read the books "Walter the Farting Dog".  Look it up on Amazon.  They are hilarious.  My uncle sent them to my daughter.  I wonder if you change the food though.  You don't give your dog a lot of table food do ya'?  I would think upset stomach.  We had a chihuaha (spelling?) that ate an entire roast beef that I made with onion dip mix.  Well, he messed the cage and had a sore hiney.  I thought he was gonna die.  We took him to the vet, and she suggested giving him Pepto Bismol (I swear) and to rub his hiney/scrotal sac with Desitin for the irritation.  Poor thing.  My husband got a bit kick out me rubbing Taco's scrotal sac with Desitin, that jerk!  Gotta luv 'em.  What we won't do for our animals.  Well anyhoooo  the Pepto Bismol helped the dog.  He was back to his old self in no time.  Worth a try?  May be so...

A Poke In the Eye...SM

Have a question about a kid being poked in the eye:  Last night a friend's sons were playing with sticks (from trees) and one got hit in the eye, with the eyeball scratched.

Last night he tracked her finger well and only felt some pain when looking downward.

He has some swelling at the corner of the eye and onto his face.  The white of the eye is filled with redness (apparently a pattern of dots).  There is a line of "bumps" on the eyeball (similar to the appearance of skin that's been snagged/scratched by a jagged/ragged sharp object).  There is no tearing.

Today, the kid swears it doesn't hurt at all.  Vision seems fine.  Have heard of applying an eye patch, antibiotics, some other follow up/monitoring, or some combo?
