I had a cortisone injection in

In Reply to: Anyone that has plantar fasciitis or heel spurs found a good conservative help for this pain. nm - PAMT

my heel 2 years ago and haven't had pain since (and it was awful pain).  The shot did hurt but definitely worth it.  I also went to a really good shoe store where they fit my foot to a sneaker and got some $40 orthotics too that I am still using.

Cortisone helps many but didn't help me (sm)
I had plantar fasciitis with spurs for 2 years! I walked funny on my foot for so long that I caused a stress fracture of my fifth metatarsal!  At that point I had a cast on my foot for 4 weeks, with no weightbearing for three weeks! It was hard to do! Then I had a velcro cast for 4 more weeks.  After that my foot finally was well!!  It took a few months to get totally back to normal but for 2 years now have been able to wear any shoes I want.  I highly recommend trying nonweightbearing for a little while, and get a velcro cast if you can.  When I say nonweigtbearing I mean none - you have to give the inflamed area a chance to heal without it being aggravated.  Now every day before I get out of bed I do "crunches" with my feet - scrunching them up, which seems to help prevent recurrence.  Good luck to you!  This ailment can make you feel way older than you are because you can't do what you want to do!!
Cancer injection
But this particular injection only protects the cancer which supposedly comes from a virus. It does not protect from all cervical cancer. It does not protect from the cervical cancer not attributed to the STD. You are correct, not all cancer comes from having sex, but this injection only protects from the kind that does and even that is a debate.
cervical cancer injection.
Me too! I agree with everything you have said. If I have to home school to avoid this I will. It was mentioned that this is being done in case a girl is rapped as well. Well the shot doesn't protect against all the other STDs so why not do something to all the males in the world then so that they cannot rape? We all know that will never happen. That would be crazy and so is forcing our daughters to do this.
selective nodal injection
Has anyone heard of a "selective nodal injection" for a sciatic type leg pain?
Can doc do a botox injection in the area? nm

Just had the injection in the office. The only part I did not like was seeing SM
the needle that close to the eye. He was very nice and I had confidence in him and it was over before I knew it. They just inject a steroid solutin and it dissolves it in short order. I had mine on a Friday evening some years ago and did not have to work the next day, but would have been up and at it the next monring. You will do just fine if that is what happens. The only part, like I said, was I got a terribly black eye, which actually had it hilarious moments, as you can image at work, etc.  Good luck to you!
New cervical cancer injection mandatory in Texas next year

Just heard starting next year in Texas young girls are being ordered to get the new cervical cancer injection, just passed by the governor of the state so I am sure there will be a lot of talk about this.
