I know.

Gosh, our MILs do sound alike.  Not only has she done all those things like you mentioned but she has gone as far as going through our mail, balance our checkbook.  UGG!  Everything is "I am only trying to help."  Poor lonely MIL has an very ungrateful, over sensitive, very mean and jeolous DIL. 

I just don't get how much of my privacy, my personal boundries and my sanity I have to give up just because she is old, lonely and she wants to do those things and she has nothing better to do with herself.  Once I asked her about a savings account she opened up in H's name and boy she let me have it.  It was none of my business.  She bawled me out, then the next day she called H and bawled him out and then in turn H bawled me out again.   She put some of her money a savings account in H's name so he will have enough to bury her.  Well, she noses through ours bank accounts all the time under the disguise of "wanting to help."  When I tried it, it sure did not work for me.  I guess it is different.
