a hotcake! Then possibly he could donate half of the money to a charity he likes and keep the other half as his prize for the contest, best of both worlds. This way he could maybe get himself a couple games with the money.
$ sneakers
at least she should get a pair of jimmy choos for that price.
I agree, that is a lot to pay for sneakers, however, sm
If she has to be on her feet a lot (which she probably does) and gets a lot of wear out of them, maybe the price is justified. I know I'd hate to have to wear heels all the time and not all sneakers are comfortable to me. With her job, she probably needs something really comfortable and durable.

Just a thought.
sneakers. Cookies or cake?

Michelle's ugly sneakers!

The First Lady could feed quite a few people with what she paid for the sneakers she's wearing.

Wow!  $540.-- for a pair of sneakers!

And they are ugly!

Mine cost only $ 50.-- and are much, much nicer!

She should wear them with her 'sleeveless' dresses.

As much as I like O, but she is a no no.

What the women wear or don't wear is not the
issue here. They can wear what they want. The issue is what is actually going on in the compound and the laws that are being broken.

If parts are that expensive, sell her to the mechanic that gave you the quote. He at least will give you the amount you still owe and he can part it out.
to sell more books
She wants to create more hype about the books. I agree, I don't think it was at all appropriate to discuss that in relation to what is marketed as a children's book.
At least you have kids trying to sell them to you....sm
around here we'll oftentimes see the scout "moms" with tables set up outside of Wal-Mart and grocery stores selling the cookies for the troops and have maybe only 1 scout around at that time.

We also sold them for 50 cents/box when I was a kid. I still love to get the thin mints and freeze them, then pull the box out on a hot day in July. Ahhhh -heaven!!!
sell the sale
As you are shoving the leftovers in the fridge say,

"Amazing sale on turkeys at such and such, you should go get one!"
My mom used to sell it years ago and

when I decided to do something to pad my income, I asked her about.  She said she made good money back then, but so much has changed and the people she buys from now say it's hardly worth it.

After doing some research on my own, I found another direct sales company that offered their reps more with less out of pocket and less financial responsibility.  I sell jewelry to people at home shows.  I signed up in January and since then, I have made about $7,000 in profit (about $1000 extra a month).  The benefits are that the customers pay up front.  The customers handle their own returns/exchanges.  Everything is backed with a lifetime guarantee, so no complaints if they don't like it.  The orders are delivered to the home of the hostess, so no deliveries.

The startup cost is zero.  I earned my display kit free with my own home show and it also came with enough paper supplies to get me started.  Since then, I have invested in some marketing materials, etc, but it's still very profitable.  I really enjoy the money I make and a couple of nights out a week with the "girls"!

If you'd be interested in hearing more, you can email me privately.  If you decide to go with Avon, good luck, and remember -- you only get out of it what you're willing to invest in it!

And, I'm not talking about WHO the stores sell to, I'm

And, no I don't buy from businesses that knowingly sell homosexual material of any type!

but she does visit from time to time. I am not sure I could get away with it. My husband is such a peacekeeper, when I talk to him about it he just nods his head and says "I know". Thanks for the suggestions, and Misha thanks for the laugh.
No don’t have to sell but this property is 1 big headache
We have to go every month to cut the grass (6 acreas) and I told my sweet hubby today if something happened to me, hello, he would have to fool with all that. I have no use for it but have had since 2004 now, did not make up mind to sell until about a year ago. I told the realtor just to let me know when he got other offers..
Property I am trying to sell right on the lake
and the people around there kinda sound like you and yours. That is why I am selling!
yes, they sell it all over online. but what does that have to do with mums?

Publix is our big supermarket and they sell

rule for Publix Grocery stores is - AFTER 2 HOURS, if the chicken(s) is not sold - they throw them out!!  They cannot risk selling to the public if the chicken has been sitting cooked in their cases MORE than 2 hours.

Take that under advisement please....and do not eat that chicken nor serve it....

Of course, if they'd pay me a living wage, I wouldn't have to do that. But since they don't, no way would I ever have any guilt about it. It's all about SURVIVAL.

Does anyone sell Lia Sophia jewelry?

Just curious if anyone sells Lia Sophia or how you make out with it moneywise.  I just signed up and it seems like a pretty good deal.  I hosted a party and then decided to sign on after seeing the amount of commission you could make.  I had 6 people at my party and took 4 or 5 outside orders.  I think the lady made about $200 off my party, plus I got a bunch of free/discounted jewelry.  Is it really that easy?

I have 4 parties booked in January and 1 more yet to schedule.  I'm hoping to bring in about $1000 per party and 2 parties a week, so maybe $600 a week.  Is this realistic?  Anyone else been doing this for a while and can offer any advice?

sell the car and buy her a brand new shiny
bus pass.
Tell you father to sell the property...
buy something decent and let you stay there for free.
Until everything is settled, move in with your father.
You are definitely living in danger.
How, for heaven's sake, can your father hire sex offenders to work in your house?

I have no desire to sell my house sm
and couldn't afford it anyway. On top of that, regardless of hte neighborhood, I DO NOT want to live where there is an HOA!
Lisa LaPorte from Designed to Sell SM
had a neat trick - there is something easy to use that you use to fill in the panel "creases" (kind of like caulk) then sand it smooth when dry, paint over it, and it looks like regular walls. Maybe you could check the HGTV website and see if you can find it if interested. Otherwise I agree with the Kilz - that stuff is great but SMELLY!
They do sell weight control cat food.

Waste of your money. They sell you into this idea that sm
you "save" money over time, but you really don't. I'd be careful. Seriously. Heard of some bad experiences with this. Think about it. You pay ALL this money every single month like a huge loan payment and then you get to take a 2 week vacation anywhere they have resorts. Most of the time they are not flexible on dates. You know, we sat through one at Disney and I thought in the beginning, hey, this isn't such a bad idea. I get to come down here anytime I want! Yes! I will pay 500.00 a month. Where do I sign?! and then the guy looked at me and said, "Um, maam, you can come down for 1 week any time during the year for as long as you 'own' the timeshare." I almost spit my Coke all over him. No way is this a good idea.
I have. See him on infomercials in the middle of the morning trying to sell is nonsense...
to fill is how pockets.  Just one example of his "natural cures"....any physician will confirm, with 100% certainty, that patients with end-stage renal disease who receive dialysis 3 x weekly can not be cured by KT's natural methods. He's one of the biggest so-called medically knowledged shysters out there, praying on innocent, uneducated, poor people.
PS: The timeshare he wanted to sell cost 17,000 and we "owned" it. But still sm
one week out of the year? I'm not young. What if I only have 10 years left? Or less?
I agree; also you don't sell stuff like that at yard sales.
Save it for ebay or something like that. Tough lesson learned.
Ask the Department Stores that sell them. They often have travel sizes. NM

99-cent stores in Houston sell milk....
any fat content, 2 gallons for $3. Might be worth a shot if making cheese, though I don't know what the yield would be when converting liquid to solid. Sure beats the $4+ per pound price of cheese in the grocery store.
I seriously doubt they sell. She's out of luck unless you want to make her a bootleg copy which

kind of dicey.... DVD players are about $50 right now... VHS thing of the past and try hard to get her to convert to DVD!!

I have to disagree. EVERY grocery store chain does NOT sell gay & lesbian material.
v
WalMart sell homosexual books & videos. I won't shop at any store

and it's not because I'm judgemental of anyone. God will judge in the end. But, I have a right to shop at stores that do not sell such items.  And, for the poster who said homosexuals buy condoms...heterosexuals buy condoms, too!  For example, my brother and his wife use condoms because they don't want to have anymore children but also don't want to have surgery.  For the person who posted that the Bible was written by man, let me enlighten you.  The Bible was written by man through God. That means that, while man wrote the text, God was who gave man the words to write it.  This issue for me is not JUST about WalMart, it is about all businesses who sell homosexual material.

Do you stencil? Walmart and Michael's locally sell stencils and the dabber brushes.
It is not hard.  I did a design of ivy and then glazed over it (suggestions on type to use from Lowe's) and then found a shower curtain that had the same ivy, material with ivy and light flowers to trim out some towels.  Looks pretty darn nice, if I do say so myself.
Whatever you want to wear - sm
You are going to love the Lion King! When I went a couple years ago there were people in dresses and suits, but a lot of other people, including myself, in just a nicer outfit - slacks and a sweater. Some people were even in jeans.
I got some to wear in the car when
we went on vacation last summer. They were great. I could actually work and not hear anything else going on in the car. However, I never use them at home because they are SOO big. I have my favorite pair that I wear, but when they wear out, I guess I will be wearing my expensive BIG ones! They do work, though
what to wear?
Need a bit of help.  I am a full-figured woman (26) and have been invited to a fancy, fancy wedding.  What am I going to wear? I do not wear skirts or dresses.  I have looked online for plus size fancy occasion pant sets but cannot find anything that looks good.  They all look real cheap.  For this affair the cost of an outfit will be no problem.  I just need advise/help on finding something.  Probably need size 26/28 as I would rather get bigger than smaller and then have it tailored.
There is no way I would wear the one ...sm
with the jewelry hanging from it. That irks me. I just want to grab the thing and jerk it off. LOL. The one with the crystals in the contact lense without the thing hanging I think is cool.
yes some did wear them
My mom used to tell me about it. I was not born then either. She actually had one. The underskirt is something like the slip they wear under a square dance dress, they are made of very stiff tulle/mesh.

Mom said they get that stiff because they would spray them with spray starch/sugar water and hang them to dry.

The most of the poodle skirts you will see now are made of felt. You can get a pattern for it in the Halloween catalog for the major pattern companies. Look on line for McCall or Simplicity.
You should wear them...
I'm sure she'd be glad you liked keeping her close at heart and also you probably look very beautiful in them and she would be glad you are enjoying these earthly things that she took the time to purchase.  Just remember, life is too short, and the jokes about "giving me that jacket" were showing how much you loved her taste in apparel, so why not wear them and know that your sister would have thought you look great in them!  JMO.
I would wear them - sm
When my mom died I took about 80% of her clothes. Right now I cannot fit into them but we were the same height, though she weighed about 10 pounds less. But I can easily wear all her shirts and dresses...once I lose some weight, put on 35 pounds after she died. It makes me feel good to have her stuff and some of the smaller tops I have given to my daughters who are thrilled to have a little bit of grandma with them.
That's why I don't wear them
Too expensive and too restrictive, but I'm small enough to get away with it.
