This would be like any other non-marital-related 'eviction, since the house in his name' in that he has to give you at least 30 days notice. That will not only give you another payday but also will give you extra time to go speak to an attorney to find out your rights in this. Whether your name is on the house or not, I would think depending on the amount of time you've been married and the amount of time you have lived there would mean you have a stake in the value of the property.

Call you local Legal Aid (that's what we call it here) and line up an attorney. Also, there may be free legal advice sites online that you can find through Google which may serve as a guideline for your location on what your rights are and perhaps even links to free counsel or lawyers that charge on a scale depending on your wages.

I'm sure your hubby knows this already, but he's a total wanker for throwing you out like that!!!
