IRA's are not involved in the stock market, they are CD's and you have to go with the bank's rate and they are covered by FDIC. As of this year if you are 70-1/2 you do not have to take the minimum distribution. Otherwise, it's like a bank account not the stock market. What to do? Who knows?????? I bought a car because they're so cheap now but it will have to last a looong time.
