Just when getting botox for little of nothing

Crud! I had some muscle spasms in my face and the neurologist suggested botox. I thought oh great, now is the time with insurance paying the majority for it as in the past had it done through plastic surgeon and cost a bundle. Now this week  get the first injections, about 5-6 in the face and 1 took care of the subtle crease from the nose down to the chin around the mouth. Great, I thought.... until today. Now botox is going to be sold with a warning. What has been found out is sometimes spreads out and goes places not good- as in causing respiratory difficulties, paralyzing the larynx, even death. Well, good idea while it lasted. Guess I will ask Mr. Neurologist what is a second choice for me.

What about botox.
There are folks with good responses to this. One lady gives hx of 5 months relief and then only requiring one additional injection. If there is no history of injury, sometimes sittin at the computer such as transcribing, if you are sitting with head held forward, will cause this illness. You might just find great relief from Botox since it causes minor paralysis of the muscle. People have practically cured severe cases of dystonia with Botox. I don't know what $ Botox runs for but it is definitely got to be cheaper than monthly Rx plus blood tests to monitor for liver damage. I took this for seizures as a child but would not want to again.
Botox
I went to a physiatrist and he said he would not give me Botox as I was too severe a case. Also neurosurgeon said not to get it as it could permanenty paralyze my neck muscles. I am very sensitive to all drugs. Had a CT angio of my neck last week and when they gave me iodine I got very ill. Came home and started vomiting, went to ER, they ignored me so came home. Now have gastritis. I am just a mess! A chiropractor wants to put me on an IDD machine for traction but I read this is contraindicated in people with spinal hardware. I cannot drive far from this horrible condition and pray for healing.
One cannot use Botox around the lip area
because it can cause the muscles around the mouth to not work right. I know because I have used Botox on my forehead and have also gone the plastic surgery route, both in facelift, breast lift, tummy tuck, and arm lifts. I do not believe in accepting aging gracefully. I hate bags under the eyes, sagging chin, drooping breasts and so on.
Botox is great for migraines!
I have sinusitis and migraines along with very severe occipital neuralgia. I get Botox every 3 months along with supraorbial nerve blocks. I also take Bactrim or Biaxin for the sinusitis. I feel your pain, believe me. I have a nerve stimulator also. Good luck!
Can doc do a botox injection in the area? nm
s
Just to think years ago paid $$$ for Botox and now
(this is in follow up to the moving eyes, which neurologist says has nothing to do with 1 another) I had about 5-6 shots in my face yesterday to stop the muscle twitching that started about 4 weeks ago. Testing including MRI both brain and carotids done, ok and then lab work for the B12, 6 and thus done and so far on the left hand side has quieted them down but doc says can take sometimes between 4-6 weeks to see results. He did not inject that place in between your eyes on your forehead where that line is though, heck, missed that one.
Right, but a lot do apply Botox around the mouth area and
on top of this they get collagen injecting into their lips and then they get this fish-lip look with a masky face.

Especially aging actresses!

Eeeewww!
