this dog went everywhere with us and even went to work with me. She was very involved with and a part of the family, not wanting for attention. I agree with you that other breeds have a problem with biting, but not many of them actually kill what they bite. I have had many mixed-breed dogs and have found them to be more stable than the pure-bred dogs. I think maybe the problem with the Pitbull breed is that they became very popular and there was too much inbreeding and indiscriminate breeding going on, making for very unstable dogs. Like I said, you never know what you are getting in a Pitbull, or other popular breeds for that matter, so I will stick with my lab and mixed-breed dog and never again take a chance on a Pitbull, Rot, or other dogs with qustionable temperaments. Better safe than sorry after the fact.
