Mom learned never to tell her about anything she was enthused in, or my Aunt would rush out and buy it. She even went behind mom's back and bought a car that mom told her that she wanted to buy (offered the guy $100 more than mom was going to), then bragged to everyone what a deal she got. Mom was quite pleased when the car gave my aunt nothing but trouble the whole time she owned it - but she learned her lesson never to tell her about any deal that was still up for grabs.
