More Respirdal wonderings....

So the Respirdal seems to be helping more each night, for the 2 hours my son can stay awake after taking it.   It really knocks him out and he's pretty whoozy if I have to wake him up to move him to his bed if he falls asleep somewhere else.  He said he'd like to try it in the afternoons too but he doesn't think he'd be able to stay awake.   He's on 1 mg at night.  The 0.5 didn't seem to help him at all.  Has anyone had their child on it more than once a day?  Do they eventually overcome the sleepiness?

On a happier note...his hair is finally starting to grow back in most of the spots.  I'm a little worried about a couple areas but if he can stop pulling it out, his curls would cover them.

My son recently started Respirdal.
He's gained a pound a week since starting it, so we are really going to have to watch that. He's also started having auditory hallucinations, but we aren't sure if that is related to the medication or not. As far as evening him out, I think it is helping with the mood swings.
