My fears and not fears

While I have no fear whatsoever of dying and sometimes wish that time would come soon (can't wait to make it to the other side) and have ony 2 fears about it. 1. That I'm in a situation and it will be painful (like somewhone stabbing me - paper cuts hurt enough), and 2. That something will happen to the both DH and me at once and our poor little cat won't know what to do. She's so afraid of a lot of things (she was abused as a kitten). We also have no kids/family, which brings to mind that if something did happen to us together it would probably be months before anyone would know because we're housebugs and nobody knows or pays attention to us.

I have a fear of spiders to an extent. Seeing as DH also has a fear and tells me to get them myself, or he'll try and convince me they are a sign of good luck and leave them be, I have to get rid of them myself (thank goodness for our tall tupperware container.

I have no fear of (and would love to see, speak, meet, visit or whatever) UFO's, aliens, a ghost or spirit.

I have absolutely no fear whatsoever of Satan/Devil or whatever you want to call him because I don't believe in the devil/satan or whatever you want to call him. He's one of those made up characters created by man thousands or more years ago to keep people in fear that if they didn't do what they said (or what they said was the word of you know who) they would go to he!! where Satan ruled. Ahhhhh...that brings me to he!!. Nope, don't believe in that made up place either. I'm living in my own he!! everyday.

Other than that I don't think I have any fears.

This is one of my biggest fears! When I saw it on CNN, I thought I was having...

a nightmare!  When I was a little kid one of my uncles said something like some of the bridges in Missouri are so old that pieces fall off with every car that drives across.  Couple that with my fear of water and drowning, I have been afraid of bridges ever since!  To see that awful site on CNN with the bridge collapsing into the Mississippi River with 50 cars on it -- I could feel myself breathing faster and my heart racing!

How horrible for those people on the bridge whose cars went into the water and the school bus with kids just sitting on the piece of broken, hanging bridge.  The parents were probably hysterical with fear and worry!

I've been praying for everyone involved since last night.
