My little princess would not wear

Posted By: JanSetzmt on 2007-10-04

a collar! I was so worried that if she gets out she will not come back or be returned cause she wouldn't have a collar on with a tag. She just kept pawing at it and one day got her bottom jaw stuck trying to take it off. I gave up....

GMA princess, does anyone know
the story behind this girl and her mother? I caught in on the tail end of their time in Hollywood being treated to spas, makeup, hairdos, dresses and the like for the Academy Awards but did not get the story about why they were there in the first place. Does anyone know? Thanks.
Well the PRINCESS
is sitting up on her bookshelf looking out over her kingdom! Put your hand up there once, careful she might bite it off! Seems like she always wants to bite when she is up there....don't know why...she nips and wags her tail at the same time! Naughty kitty!
What a little princess!
So dainty and sweet!  I wish I could trade places with her!  I say that to my Golden all the time, I wish I was him - the only worry he has in this world is when will his next "walkies" take place!
Princess underwear sm
My sons trained early but my granddaughter was late and it bothered me, and now I realize it was just in her own time. I did buy her some princess nice underwear and encouraged her that she could wear the big girl panties once she was totally trained. She used to wave bye-bye to the BM and flush it away but she had a lot of slip-ups. She did not totally train until 3. Once she was trained though, there is no way she would even take a break to go at all, she has total control and just refuses to take a bathroom break. I found that I worried needlessly as now she is totally in control all day and night. In studying child development I found they all have the usual oral, genital, anal compulsions and it's best to leave it alone (although I was just as guilty with not being patient). Good luck with it, it will come on all of a sudden and then no more worries!
Call Me Princess

I, too, feel badly for you.  I personally don't think you sound like the kind of woman who could live with what will most definitely come, and sooner than you think.  I'm not here to judge whatever you decide.  Just know that we're all very sorry for your situation. Betrayal is probably the worst thing I've ever had to endure, whether from a friend or in any area of life.  But I must agree based on where I've been in life that he's down-playing the sex. We all know anatomy well enough here that there was obviously some kind of pay-off here for him (hate to go "Dr. Phil" on ya, but you can't ignore this--he clearly wasn't thinking of you when he was in the arms of another woman)!  You didn't mention exactly how you learned of this.  Did you find out on your own?  If so, that would speak volumes in my world.  If that's the case, I can't see where he had enough guilt to bring it to the table.  You also didn't mention the dynamics about this other woman.

I know from my own experience how many men cheat on their husbands, as I've been hit up on for as long as I can remember (and still am).   And trust me, the ones you'd never expect are out there doing it.  No, not all of them.  Fortunately there are some really decent men who don't.  I'm just jaded based on how many have just assumed that I was a player, too.  Whether it was at the hospital, the gym, or even the grocery store, I was amazed (and of course disgusted and disappointed).  Even more surprising to me was over the phone!  I could look like CIrcus Fat Lady and they still hit up on me!  Now how screwed up is that?

I had a boyfriend long before I got married who was behaving this way.  I'm ashamed that I even spoke to him after that!  Of course, we're friends now, but if he had it his way, he'd have me again (we're both married).  So that tells me nothing's changed.

I personally could never trust a man after this.  Only you can answer that, but I think you're in for a long, painful ordeal by dragging it out.  I learned long ago that no man is worth it, no matter how "good he looks on paper."  We can spin it anyway we want in our own minds to pacify ourselves.  I just know that I'm worth far more than any liar or cheater who could bring something back to my bed. That's a huge turn-off for me.  I'd personally cut my losses and move on and be a princess yourself.  You deserve that (heck, we all do)!

Either way, we're all here for you and will support you and help you through this.  What a horrible thing to learn so close to Christmas, bless your heart...

Please keep us updated on whatever it is you decide.  It's a very personal decision.  I'm just glad you felt you could reach out to us.

Hardly the case, Princess. I don't need to imagine that men are checking me out.
Someone's starved for attention. Maybe it's you since I've obviously hit a nerve? :)
Exactly, lol, and anyone who is treated like a true princess does not work! lol
Oh now she'll say but I like having my own money, so I can give to charity...blah, blah. We've heard it before. Hogwash, cause why can't hubby do that too?. Oh, hmmmm, he's just not THAT nice or THAT well off, is he? Oh I see. LOL!!!
Princess (Mom) and Cinderella and Snow White
I hate their names but I have 3 daughters who of course insisted on these names. All 3 dogs are females. I am looking for a Silky Terrier for myself if anyone knows where to find one.
ohhh, princess in an uproar! Poor DH!

how helpless can you be!

Vera Wang Princess. I am in love with it. nm

Don't forget that Princess Diana cheated even more than
Charles. Charles cheated with Camille. But Diana cheated with a lot of men and her butler covered for her.

I think that Diana handled this whole situation immature and not smart.

How could she think that she could stand up and win against the whole institution of the British state?

And it is said that after Prince Charles divorced her, she became pregnant with the child of Dodi (?), the son of the owner of Harrods, a Muslim.
In my opinion, no. They were on their feet for the queen, not the manufactured princess. nm

What the women wear or don't wear is not the
issue here. They can wear what they want. The issue is what is actually going on in the compound and the laws that are being broken.
Chanel No. 5, Vera Wang's Princess. Ralph Lauren Blue sm
I also like Poison, but I don't wear it very much anymore. :) Vera Wang's Princess has a very light smell and lasts a very, very long time as does Chanel No. 5. Blue does not seem to last as long.
Whatever you want to wear - sm
You are going to love the Lion King! When I went a couple years ago there were people in dresses and suits, but a lot of other people, including myself, in just a nicer outfit - slacks and a sweater. Some people were even in jeans.
I got some to wear in the car when
we went on vacation last summer. They were great. I could actually work and not hear anything else going on in the car. However, I never use them at home because they are SOO big. I have my favorite pair that I wear, but when they wear out, I guess I will be wearing my expensive BIG ones! They do work, though
what to wear?
Need a bit of help.  I am a full-figured woman (26) and have been invited to a fancy, fancy wedding.  What am I going to wear? I do not wear skirts or dresses.  I have looked online for plus size fancy occasion pant sets but cannot find anything that looks good.  They all look real cheap.  For this affair the cost of an outfit will be no problem.  I just need advise/help on finding something.  Probably need size 26/28 as I would rather get bigger than smaller and then have it tailored.
There is no way I would wear the one ...sm
with the jewelry hanging from it. That irks me. I just want to grab the thing and jerk it off. LOL. The one with the crystals in the contact lense without the thing hanging I think is cool.
yes some did wear them
My mom used to tell me about it. I was not born then either. She actually had one. The underskirt is something like the slip they wear under a square dance dress, they are made of very stiff tulle/mesh.

Mom said they get that stiff because they would spray them with spray starch/sugar water and hang them to dry.

The most of the poodle skirts you will see now are made of felt. You can get a pattern for it in the Halloween catalog for the major pattern companies. Look on line for McCall or Simplicity.
You should wear them...
I'm sure she'd be glad you liked keeping her close at heart and also you probably look very beautiful in them and she would be glad you are enjoying these earthly things that she took the time to purchase.  Just remember, life is too short, and the jokes about "giving me that jacket" were showing how much you loved her taste in apparel, so why not wear them and know that your sister would have thought you look great in them!  JMO.
I would wear them - sm
When my mom died I took about 80% of her clothes. Right now I cannot fit into them but we were the same height, though she weighed about 10 pounds less. But I can easily wear all her shirts and dresses...once I lose some weight, put on 35 pounds after she died. It makes me feel good to have her stuff and some of the smaller tops I have given to my daughters who are thrilled to have a little bit of grandma with them.
That's why I don't wear them
Too expensive and too restrictive, but I'm small enough to get away with it.
Probably not Pentecostal either. We wear
pants lots of times (even to church). We don't have home church meetings either. We have church in the sanctuary like most other denominations.
I normally wear two rings;
my wedding ring on my left hand and an opal on my right hand. For some reason, I always have to take my wedding ring off because it slows me down if I'm wearing it yet I keep my opal on because I feel it slows me down if it's off. ???? Strange I know.

I also wear Ace bands on my wrists. Have done this for a few years now because I don't want the big CT and it slows me down now if I don't have those on.
I don't wear mine either.

We've been married since 1998 and I wear my rings maybe once a week for only an hour or so at a time...I am so hard on jewelry I'm afraid I would either destroy them or lose them.  Some of the things I do around here could get them crushed on my finger as well, so I even consider them a safety hazard!  I only wear them when we go out.  My husband never wears his either except when we go out.  All of them are kept in my little jewelry box so we know where they are.  It's never been an issue, but we're not that mainstream of a couple either!

None, never wear a bra, hate it. nm

Whatever it is you choose to wear...
just make sure it compliments the bridal party's ensemble.
It doesn't necessarily have to be a solid color, but if you choose a dress with floral patterns, make sure it doesn't clash too much with the MOB or the rest of the bridal party.

Go here (but in case it does not show) Smarter.com and search mother of the groom dress. It will give you several online stores. At least you can get an idea of what you might want.

http://www.smarter.com/---se--qq-mother%2Bof%2Bthe%2Bgroom%2Bdress.html

I'm glad I don't wear it all.

What would you wear to this occasion? (sm)
Mother and father-in-law's 50th anniversary part, at a country club, 7 p.m., not a dinner, just sort of a reception with cake and such, wine...how formal?
I just wear flats
I'm actually taller than my husband so I always wear flats. I think they're so much more comfortable for me anyway. Heels actually make the balls of my feet hurt.
It seems that is how they like to wear their hair...
I don't think there is anything specific behind it.  Maybe they believe it conservative?
Use it up, Wear it out, Make it do, or Do without!
x
Maybe because no one has said to them they SHOULDN'T wear it...
nothing uglier than muffin top under too tight shirts, fat thighs in too tight jeans, sucking down an soda and eating a burger. Some people need to look in a mirror, or better yet, shop at a real department store, spend some money on good quality clothing, stop trying to dress like a teenager, and bring along a friend who will tell you how you REALLY look in the clothes you try on.
Anyone ever buy swim wear online?

I'm having a heck of a time finding a bathing suit anywhere locally (Wisconsin).  The only place I see them are online, and I'm a bit hesitant about purchasing because it's a hassle returning, etc. Any suggestions?  Goin' on a cruise in December.  Thanks for your suggestions.

No, But I Only Wear an Engagement Ring....

It's not the biggest diamond in the world so it doesn't bother me.  The whole "bare wrists" is another story, however.

I wear my rings all the time
I don't think I can get them off if I wanted to. LOL. My husband only wears his ring on special occasions. He can't wear any jewerly. His fingers swell up. He also can't wear necklaces or watches. It used to bother me, but as long as he wears it when we go out, I'm fine with it.
Wear a soft t-shirt for a while and
leave it in her favorite place to sleep so she will have your scent. Mine love to sleep on my clothes!
Do your dogs wear clothes?

little doggie sweaters or hats or boots?

mine don't. I had a dog once that I tried to put a sweater on but I lost.

My cats wear tutus. :)
he, he
I think it is perfectly fine, as you have to wear it, not him!
I did not pick out the exact ring, but definitely discussed the cut and style I wanted. My feeling is if a man truly cares about the woman he would want to get her the ring SHE wants, not the one he can afford or the one he picks out. I'd be more worried about that to be honest. JMO
Either 1 or 2 - whichever I could possibly wear somewhere else. nm

La Venta Inn wedding - what to wear???

I've been invited to a wedding in CA at the LA Venta Inn the weekend of Thanksgiving.  I would like some input on what to wear.  Looks like a pretty nice place and I know they are trying for a sunset wedding ceremony - like around 4:30 with the reception at the Inn afterwards.  I know it gets cool in the evenings, but if anyone has any suggestions on what to wear - I would appreciate it.  Sounds like a formal or semi-formal affair.  Thanks.

I used to wear gas perms years ago (sm)
and if I am remembering correctly, it seems like I was told to periodically scrub the lenses with some baking soda to remove all the deposits (I have a lot of allergies, too, and they'd get covered in the gunk). Seemed to make them fit and feel better.
There are some good ones - wish they'd wear badges or something!
That reminds me of the situation my cousin ran into - she used to work for AOL customer service answering people's calls about problems with AOL. She was fired for averaging too much time helping the customers!!!
Really now. Do you think MT companies really care? I wear
xxxx
Same here..neither my husband nor I wear our bands.
they are just plain wide gold bands but he is prohibited from wearing his at work (this is 12-14 hr a day, so by bother putting them on just to sleep in?) because he could lose a finger, etc. on equipment. Mine also got tighter, etc and I previously worked in a physician office and had to wash my hands constantly and the soap, etc would get underneath and cause irritation. Like poster above, plan on keeping my husband after 29 years... with or without the bands on our fingers.
winter wedding what to wear?
What does a guest wear to a winter wedding?
Better start with the clothing they wear
or lack of. After that all downhill.
Too much bleaching can also wear down enamel :(
With hard brushing and excess bleaching you likely will pay a big price in the future.

PS: People in Hollywood look like way from veneers, not bleaching.

Be gentle on your teeth. :)
Do you wear contact lenses? sm

I had giant cell papilloma on the inside of my lid once from my lens.  Not painful, occasionally itchy, but really not bothersome.  Doc told me to stop wearing the lenses a few weeks, maybe gave me drops (happened a long time ago), and the condition resolved.

Hope you heal soon, whatever it is.

tell him you'd have to wear more revealing clothing
