You had to work too hard then! I thought our mothers had it the best - too young to worry much about WWII, but raising kids in the mid-to-late 50s and early 60s when they had almost all the important conveniences (all but a microwave) and didn't have to worry about working outside the home.

I was a little too young for the 60's strife too. The hippies scared me a little.
