Need some help in choosing between 2 physicians

I had been to a neurologist who also does acupuncture and has pain clinic, have seen about 4 times. Just not really satisfied with his bedside manner, which is none, and do not want to stay with him. I last week was referred to another neurologist by my nephrologist and I really, really felt this physician was not only caring but did a good examination and I felt really good about seeing him. Ok, here is what I need. I want to stay with neurologist #1 as I have some pain issues going on that I want to try out the acupuncture with but I really want to have the 2nd physician for any neurologic concerns. Due to see #1 this next week for my first acupuncture. I need to write a note that says I will not use him as neurologist, only for the acupuncture treatments because if not, I cannot go back to #2. Any thoughts on what my note should say? Really appreciate the input.

What I would do is keep neurologist #2 and ask him or her to refer you to a pain specialist and acupuncture. I transcribe for 3 neurologists, and if the patient wants to have accupuncture or needs a pain specialist, the neurologists refer the patients to someone else who is not a neurologist. I would not go back to neurologist #1.
what do you think about choosing your own ring
My boyfriend who wants to eventually get married hates the fact that I want to choose my own ring. I also don't want a proposal like finding it in my baked potato or something. I'd like to be able to say this is the ring I want, buy it and when ready give it to me at a dinner with our parents or something like that. he is having a fit. and trying to make me feel like I'm nuts. Anything wrong with being able to choose your ring?
Choosing a group

You can pick a charity by clicking on the "Add a Charity" button at the bottom of the page.  On the next page, on the left side, is a box for the not-for-profits groups.  If you click that you will see all the groups listed.

Or you can just type in "Pet Rescue By Judy" and use that one, LOL!

Once you have selected your group you can check how much your are helping by clicking on the "amount raised" button.

Can you imagine how much MTs can help with all the searching we do!  We have the power you guys!  Don't forget to shop through this site also!  You can shop for Target, ebay and many others.  Just click on the shop through GoodSearch and shop as usual.  It really helps!  You can make GoodSearch your home page too and see just how much you can help!

Thanks for all the great responses!  May God bless you with many, many lines, easy reports and no ESLs this week!

Were they physicians?
f
I wish all physicians would explain to patients..
that although they are prescribing a medication which is primarily prescribed for XYZ, that is has also been found helpful in treating ABC.  A friend of mine who had recent rotator cuff surgery was given a new script by his pain clinic physician for a chief complaint of increased pain.  My friend looked up the medication on the internet, only to find that it was prescribed for depression.  He was under the impression he was given a pain medication prescription.  Needless to say, he expressed his displeasure to the physician regarding this and as a result, has lost trust in him and has left his practice.
IMO a current PDR (Physicians Desk Reference), which runs about $200.00 (sm)
but WELL worth the expense.
