I've never had to try it but I've heard if you place newspapers on the furniture that helps keep them off. Of course, don't think that would be a good idea if they are "paper trained."

Most stores have special coupons for early birds on Friday morning. Around here, stores open around 4 a.m. and last year we got there at 3 and stood in line in the cold just waiting to get in. Good luck. Don't waste your time going to electronic stores for things however, they usually have a limited number of whatever it is on sale, laptops, cameras, computers, etc.; so unless you are first in line at those places you are usually out of luck. I know last year, people were in line at Best Buy at 2 a.m. waiting for it to open at 5.
Well I complained to newspapers, local TV
station, Fox Network and told them they had lost one viewer even for events such as the Super Bowl if they had no more morals than that. I wrote the publishing company so if a lot of people did that, perhaps it had some bearing, but I suspect there is more to it than just public outcry against the network and publisher.
