we have been seeing each other over a year and are supposedly very close...yet he didn't turn to me when something catastrophic happened? He said he talked to some friends who calmed him down....his mother called the friends because she saw how upset he was. He lectured me because I said my feelings were hurt instead of asking for an update on how his dad was doing and told me that for future reference when someone's parent almost dies, I should act sad and ask how the parent is doing instead of worrying about my own feelings. I do everything for this guy and I am not self-centered in this relationship at all. I can't outright say to him that I think he lied about the whole thing, and now he is acting like everything is just fine between us.....like he has forgiven me for my insensitivity.
