Oh, do tell!

One slight correction - the man Sawyer killed wasn't Jack's dad, he was the man who ran that little seafood stand. Sawyer's "connection" had told him that was the man who conned his mother, but it turned out he was just some man who owed the "connection" money and he wanted him killed. He didn't have anything to do with Sawyer at all.

I think Jack's dad had a heart attack in an alley somewhere after getting so drunk that he passed out.
