Okay, I'm seriously considering

canceling my cable television for the summer.  I only watch HGTV and The Food Channel, only when I'm eating or folding laundry.  The kids, however, tend to get stuck in front of the tube watching useless stuff like Hannah Montana and I would really like for them to read this summer instead. 

I think I'm gonna do it.  Anybody else out there have the courage to do this?  How did it turn out?
