on the bus trips? I went on one of those tours this summer and we had teens and some kids that appeared to be around 7 or 8.

Needing some gift ideas for seniors....
Using the ole brain and trying to come up with either male or female gift items. Having dinner at my home and playing some simple games like White Elephant so I need to get about 3 gifts for the prizes. No toiletries (spelling?), thought about gift card for restaurant already, any ideas? Thanks.
Cape Cod
Does anyone  have any favorite places on Cape Cod?  I'd post on the State board but no one ever goes there.  I'm looking for relaxation, a nice beach, a reasonable place to stay, nothing expensive, etc.
I live on Cape Cod
This has been a strange tourist season with less out-of-staters coming and more Massachusetts tourists visiting. Maybe because of high gas prices? Typically beginning the second half of August, tourist season starts to die down as people get kids ready for school. There is a bump again in tourism in mid-September to mid-October with senior citizens coming down on bus tours. It is very pretty here then, but usually too cold for beach and not much to do other than look at the pretty landscape.
I was wondering about Cape Cod
that sounds beautiful.  I wish I could try out a different state that I think I might enjoy for a little while anyway!

My husband is from the cape...he misses it too.
He lived in Bourne for many years and wants to go back so badly.  I only went there a few times to meet his foster parents.  Sure seems nice down there.  You must feel trapped when tourist season hits though!  We go to realtor.com whenever we buy a powerball ticket and pick out a property and dream a little.  Sure are some nice pads down that way!
anybody from the Cape Coral area of Florida? I have a question.( sm)
We're thinking of possibly moving down to that area at some point but I'm wondering about the home owner's insurance in the wake of the past hurricanes.  Housing prices here in the Northeast are just sky-rocketing and compared to us, the housing prices in Cape Coral are significantly less.  However, I'm wondering if I'm just trading high housing costs and low insurance here in the NE for low housing and high insurance in Cape Coral.  Can anybody give me a ballpark figure on home owner's insurance on, say a $250,000 house in Cape Coral?  TIA
