I have colored my hair for quite a few years now, because if I don't you can see the gray at the roots. I have dark-brown hair with reddish highlights naturally, so I keep it that way. Talk about thinning out though. In the front of my head on one side I am noticed my hair thinning out. The funny thing about this is that my 6-year-old grandson was really looking at me one day, and I asked him if there was something wrong, and he looked at me and said "grandma you look like you are losing your hair there." Well, that reminded me that what I saw in the mirror was not a figment of my imagination, it was real!! Out of the mouths of babes:) Kids notice the things you don't want to notice, and are painfully honest. I also had beautiful hair at one time, but now I take extra good care of my hair and I do condition my hair to keep it soft and shiny. I use products from the Ojon Company that are wonderful for hair, and then follow my shampoo with a leave-in hair volumizer, which also shines the hair. I swear by their products.
