Suze Orman just had something on her show about

I wish you could have seen it. anyway...you will be pleasantly surprised that half of his property is yours too...vehicles, boats, etc. the credit card debt is yours and his and will have to be split as well. I say get yourself a good divorce lawyer and tell him how hubby opened up credit cards in your name. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

But Suze Orman says otherwise - sm
if you cancel the card(s), it DOES show up on your credit report. The longer you've had an acct open, and in good standing, the better it shows for your FICO. Now if you don't plan on ever borrowing money again, I guess it doesn't matter; but if you want to maintain a good credit score, Suze recommends that you simply cut up the card(s) but just don't use them again.

I have about 4 accts like that. I am debt-free, by the way, and have 2 credit cards for emergency purposes or online use, which I pay off in full every month.
Suze Orman, financial adviser...

is giving away a free download of her book.  Go to Oprah's web site and download, "Women and Money," free until tomorrow at 5:00. I love anything about her and thought I'd share this! Free stuff is also good!

Enjoy!

Have you ever heard Suze Orman/Judge Judy talk
x
University of IL? I heard Suze Orman was a roommate there of John Belushi's wife
xx
I think you need to go back and check with Ms. Suze

She'd never advise to refi just for the sake of doing it.

Neither would I. I'm in with the pay the house off contingent.  My feeling is if your house is paid off and something happens and you lose your job, you never have to worry about your mortgage being late or something happening that would mean you lose the house.  I want that security for myself.

To refi just for the sake of having $$ in the bank is self defeating.  You won't earn interest on it to make up for the interest that you're paying and the deduction you get on your taxes also won't off set the interest that you're paying.  It's a lose/lose proposition.  If you can refi the same amount that you still owe down to a lower interest rate and possibly down to a shorter term, that would be something that would make sense.  My sis just took 10 years off of her mortgage with a lower interest rate and her payment only went up by $8 a month.

Now, if you're going to refi and take some $$ out to do home improvements that will increase that value of the house, that's another thing.  Again, though, you have to consider the long term effect and how are you going to handle those additional payments for the next 5 to 10 to 15 years of the loan term.

The more available credit, the better the FICO score is what Suze says.

I missed the show but yesterday on her show
a couple of brothers came in and gave money to the family. Sorry I don't have more info, but like you, I do love the show. The brothers tried to give some of the credit to Oprah but she wouldn't take it. She really wanted the brothers to get all the credit.
The show 24. Anybody know
when or if the show is coming back on Fox?  What happened to it?
TV Show 24
Do any of you keep up with this show?  Have any of you watched it from the beginning?  I'm just getting into it and wondered if it would be worth buying the previous seasons' dvds. "Jack Bauer fan"
I think you would like the show
Planet Earth on discovery channel.   It's got beautiful photography and filming of animals all over the world. A recent one showed a fox snatching a baby snow geese from it's nest, and you feel awful but then it shows the fox bringing the food to babies of it's own and realize it needs food too!  It's all a perfectly laid out plan and we humans are the ones who really mess up the balance on this planet.
Anyone who can tell me what that show was about
I did not see and therefore cannot comment.
I like that show too.
nm
Has she been on the show
yet? I don't remember anybody named Maureen. I heard something, but it's a big time SPOILER so I don't want to say it, but I just can't think of who she is
It does not show W. VA. nm
:
the show is

The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet. Hopes this makes it on board.

Just show the cat the box
Just take her and put her in the box. She will naturally know what to do and should start using it again. If not, I would call a vet.
Best show on TV
nm
Just the best show ever!
Funny, weird with some great eye candy.
There is a show that comes on TLC
that is filmed at the Brookhaven Clinic for morbidly obese people. They mentioned on that show that some of the residents had to be taken to the zoo for imaging because they were too heavy/large for regular equipment.
No, this is a different show s/m
True life, where unless I missed it (only saw the last 15 minutes), no religion is involved.
She will get her own show on TLC. Everyone will
xx
Yes, to me, he WAS the show. That
episode tears me up every time I see it. It was never the same after he left.
Just goes to show ya ....
I watched it and then the interview on GMA and that was priceless.  What a truly joyful, humble and talented lady. I could have just smacked Simon - actually all the judges and most of the crowd for their initial reactions.  Guess she showed them all looks are not everything and I am so happy this lady is getting all this acclaim.  She is just priceless.
There is a show that comes on BET
on Sunday and it is called "Sunday Best." Anyone on that show beats what they have on Idol this year. I have basically stopped watching. No matter if Susan looks like poop, the people are sure taken with her. Adam will go the way of Taylor Hicks and Fantasia, one shot.
Probably not but maybe they'd contact them to be on the show! ; )
x
I didn't see the show
if it isn't too much trouble, could you tell me just a little more about "The Secret"
She seemed VERY nervous to me throughout the show, but
.
What is this show about? Haven't seen it.
x
I haven't seen his show but...

have seen the ads for his show on HGTV.  He looks fun.  Like you would want to invite him over to a party at your house, even if he couldn't decorate for you!!

Don't know about what he does with silk but whatever it is, I bet it is snappy!!!

Would like to show these legs but
ladies, come on now, who has a good remedy for OMG, that dreaded cellulite. I would not be showing these ole legs except for the fact I have to take some recommended water aerobics for my fibromyalgia and cover as much as I can but wish I could wear a mu-mu. Any ideas out there. Hey, by the way, do not want to hear about using used coffee grounds. Heard you could mix those with body oil and smear on legs. What a mess- did not work and then had that mess in my shower to boot!!
Just show them. Be proud of what you have.
That's my opinion, anyway.  :)  Don't be worried about how you look to others; most of them are probably all in a tizzy about what others think about them, too, and you don't really care what they look like, right?
That is precisely what this show was about...doing something
and letting people get involved in making a difference. If you don't want to be *in the loop* then don't join in on the thread. Simple as that. It's obvious you weren't realizing what tonight's show was about.

hey fool - the name of the show was....

AMERICAN IDOL GIVES BACK........

They have to fit the show around the commercials.

I could have done without almost everything except maybe 15-20 minutes.

The best show on television by far..
well written, fabulous actors. I am Italian and I am obsessed with the show...love the mob aspect of it, have all 6 seasons on DVD. Will miss my Sunday nights with the family...HBO is out of our house after this season, although I do like Big Love too.
how did you get your avatar to show
I have changed it but it won't show when I post? Watch it work this time.

I love this show.
It is interesting to me how the views change regarding this show in respect to poligamist themselves. Just from different interviews about this show. Some say the "heated scenes" don't occur and that the sexual act is for procreation period, whereas others say "we are human too". Surely there has to be. Nicki cracks me up playing them all against each other. I think Chloe Sevigny is just a mess. This roll was made for her.
I love that show! sm
It's fascinating. But it makes me so mad sometimes to see what people have had to go through to *finally* get the correct diagnosis. Some people they've shown were so close to dying, so very sick, and were being told nothing was wrong.

It makes me wonder how many people aren't lucky enough to find the right doctor to help them, and just continue to suffer and even die. Horrible.
I will definitely be watching this show!

Plus, I loooooove Lisa Ling.  She is such a great reporter and so brave.  She's not afraid to go anywhere to cover a story.  I have so much respect for her and am interested in what she will find out when calling the insurance companies.

yes, cool show.

This study seems to show
that 8.7% of patients experience a postop incisional hematoma after a lumbar laminectomy, just to give you an idea of frequency of this complication. Is that what it was called - a hematoma?

Some show some class...
Though she's been everyone's joke, it seems, at least here's one person who's not trashing her.

This was a monologue from 10 months ago. Best thing on TV.

What do they show that so disgusting?
Is it just like an entertainment tabloid show?
I love that show!
the first time I saw the show was 4 or 5 years ago.  I love the part where the camera comes up under their water bowel when they are drinking water.
Got to the box about yesterdays show, about the man who
the pictures. English on the left and Spanish on the right.
Just goes to show even pretty
people can be insecure. She definitely didn't need any work. I really don't think people age right after plastic surgery, which is why they go back for more.
Oprah's show
I did watch it today...I thought I would have problems as I cannot watch most shows that show how animals are abused.  I thought it was very informative and discrete.  I will NEVER buy from a pet shop again although I got my buddy from a pet shop..went in for a hamster and came out with a 3 week old kitten in a cage by himself.  He used the litter box right away with no problems.  He is now 14 years old and is still not able to groom himself properly.  He goes against his hair and I just laugh and tell him how handsome he is - even though his hair is sticking up with spit all over.  He was not with his mom to learn.  He has other problems as being very dependent and sucking on my shirt...again his mom was not there and I am his mom.  He constantly "kneads" on me and I tell him it is Saturday and he does not have to make the donuts.  All kidding aside, it is very sad how these babies are taken away from their mom so soon.  It amazes me how money is SO important yet the babies and moms are put aside as money makers.  I love my Sim but he has a lot a problems probably due to being taken away from his mom so soon.  The next cat or dog I get will DEFINITELY be from a shelter, and a dog or cat that will be hard to place.  Please everybody, the pups and kittens are easy to place, give a home to the ones who are blind, deaf, are HIV, etc., they are so lovable....seems they know they have problems and will give you the love as you give them!!  ADOPT THE UNADOPTABLE!!!
Ho Hum show last night
Thought David Cook was not up to par. Although I'm not a fan of Kristy's I think she did well last night and should carry her through another week. Brooke is starting to get boring, she or Syesha may go tonight. Does anyone remember Tiny Tim from the ƌos, the one with the ukulele, I can't help thinking about him when I see Jason playing that thing.
Love the Show Too
My daughter and I started watching last season. Boy, they do waste food, don't they. I'm not sure who has a chance this year. I guess as the weeks go on...hopefully it'll get better, but after seeing the previews for next week, maybe not.
the today show...
did a story earlier in the week. I believe it was on Wednesday morning. I only caught a small portion of it. It was on during the last hour of their show, the part with Kathie Lee. I tried to look online for the info as they said it would be available on their website and I could not find it but who knows, maybe you'll have better luck. They were discussing transcription, mystery shoppers, and other things - legit companies they said specifically.
What's your favorite TV show?

That's if you have time to watch TV.  I record and watch them at night when I get off work or when I happen to find a free moment.  Its nice to record because then I don't have commercials either so it goes by really fast.

I like the Young and the Restless and have been watching for years.  It's the only soap I watch, the others just are not realistic enough for me to get in to them.  I also like Old Christine but that has not been on lately.  There's another show on Monday nights and I can't remember the name of it at the moment.  Its about a husband and wife, girlfriend and boyfriend, and a single guy.  I'm also a Food Network junkie.
