He was dropped from his record company and released his new CD on his own, I think. He was on Broadway in Grease and now he's in the touring company. He was on one of the talk shows recently.

Saw Taylor just the other day
He has put out a new CD but seems to just sorta lag behind. I do not like the thought of a rocker chick as I do not care for the hard look of Alison (Megan either for that matter, aint up with the tats).

Taylor Hicks did absolutely nothing for me.
Nice personality and all but his voice isn't anything spectactular in my opinion. I'd never buy one of his records. Makes me wonder about the AI thing, is it popularity over talent? I think that's how a lot of votes are coming in.

Taylor is great if he sings the right stuff
When you win AI, you are set up with a record contract that makes pretty cheesy songs. If Taylor could do his own bluesy thing, it would be great, instead of the pop stuff.

Gokey was merely a Taylor Hicks Version 2.0. Won't go far at all. nm

Basing on talent, I think Taylor Hicks has a phenomenal voice.
