Thank you to all who replied with great suggestions.  Elidel never worked for her.  If anything, it made her flare even more.  I finally took her to the doctor this morning.  They prescribed Acid Mantle compound, which turns out to be a lotion/moisturizer and hydrocortisone.  With no insurance, the cost for that is around 150.00!!!  They also prescribed Atarax, which is helping a great deal.  But, if anybody has anything else they'd like to add, please let me know.  She's SO miserable.  I have pictures if anybody would care to see them.

    • Creams make me itch even more, what I have used is Aveeno skin relief body wash, not the packets - Spice
