I know all of these things in my head, but it'll take a while to get down to my heart. I'm a big believer in taking risks and participating in life rather than watching everybody else do it. You never know, maybe I'll actually do some of that myself!

I look back at it and wish my parent's had said something to take the pressure off of me and it is funny to hear that your daughter already has that viewpoint at 14...how could someone believe that. I hope maybe he will look forward to participating in the tradition for the younger kids and see it as a priveledge to now partake in some of it for the enjoyment of others. Like I said, he is a great kid and this really surprised me.

I am not doing the wrong thing by not associating with him. I don't think I am but I wanted to hear someone else say it.

Need reassurance from animal lovers
Tell me I'm not crazy but my rental agent just called asking if I will be renewing my lease - I live in NJ and I pay 1300 a month.  Since MQ took everything away, I just skim by with bills now.  I had to say yes as my cat is 14 and is blind but in good health.  He went blind in this apt and at 14, I would hate to stress him so much as he knows this place so well.  I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will be able to keep up with it.  Would anybody else do this for an animal?
