It's been just short of year for our Raquel and the whole family misses her every day. My four year old still talks about her and brought in her picture for show and tell today. My 14 year old found her (she died at home) and she's still not over it. Thankfully we have our other cat, Roscoe to help us through.

I have to tell you what happened. A short time after she died, I was driving my car down the road and a cat ran in front of my car. It was the spitting image of my cat. It turned around, stopped in the driveway and looked at me. It sort of freaked me out, but I'd like to believe that she was telling me she was okay. Funny thing is, I'm the only one in the family who's seen the cat (I saw her more than once and each time she stopped and looked at me).
