Your pet

I wanted to express my sympathy on the loss of your sweet cat. I know firsthand how painful it is to lose these beautiful pets. My precious Barney died at 13 a couple of years ago and it is so painful to go through this loss. If only our animals were'nt so good and faithful and loving, then maybe it wouldn't hurt so bad.

I was happy that Barney died at home and I was able to bury him in my backyard. It is nice that you also have that place for your cat. I feel they are safe on the grounds of the homes they loved and protected and near their people.

You will see how it does get easier as time goes by, but I think it is so important to grieve for these members of our family, who are in many cases the most loving and for sure noncritical beings we will ever have in our lives.
