My 7-year-old asked me if I had mailed his letter to Santa because he forgot to put something on there. I told him I had already sent it off. He said "that's okay, it's not about getting the presents anyway. I just like having all of my family around me and spending time together and celebrating Jesus' birthday" which he relates to on Christmas Eve, he gets to see all of his aunts, uncles, and cousins. We all eat, play music, sing, etc.

My sweetest sound...
is 7 years old and occurs when he falls asleep unexpectedly somewhere and he starts snoring. I can sit there and listen to him "sleep sing" all night long!
That has to be one of the sweetest stories I ever heard. Just curious . .
Did you take the water, cookie and chips just to be nice, or did you have an interest already? This was really adorable. Good for you and good for him. He sounds like a true gentleman.
