Types of headphones

What types of headphones are you all using? Has anyone tried the noise-cancelling headphones or the transcription gear insight headphones? If so, how do they rate? I transcribed for seven years and used the Lanier brand and liked them. I've been a respiratory therapist for the past 5 years and am now getting back into transcription, so I'm looking for decent pair of headphones to work from home. Thanks for the help.

You can always plug those into your speaker port on the computer tower.
thanks for reply, but no, not using headphones now.
in fact, i did test the speakers on my 'job' computer and they do work. but i cannot hear sound on a video my daughter sent on my personal machine...so am not sure if i have some settings messed up or if my sound card is gone...or if possibly it is just that video. but i thought i remembered before hearing sounds when you go in and out of e/mail and web pages etc...?? don't want to test for this other job and then find out i have no sound...
anyone bought NC headphones off auction
sites and felt they got authentic products, in good working condition? I'd really like good noise cancelling headphones without paying the top dollar. thanks.

I got two different types of ivy--sm
and some white flowering plants that look like white jasmine, but I don't think they are. They are combined in a planter with some blue colored plants that look like baby's breath, but are not. (I don't know plants well), and some red coleus.
I had thought about putting just the planters inside the box too, but the box is too deep and they would have to stand on something else inside. I would rather just add the dirt so their roots have room to grow.

I have learned that in these types
of situations, it is impossible to get all the information you need to figure out exactly what is going on. Too many people gossip and pass on bad information.
On the other hand, maybe I am missing something, but it sounds like you are saying that your son broke up with this girl because he couldn't be alone with her. If that is what you mean, then I can see why she would be upset and hurt. That would look like he tossed her aside because of what he was not getting.
Spitz types
Even though they have long hair, spitz type dogs are often better for people with allergies than an oily coated breed like a lab. He's really going to have to meet the dog and see if he reacts to it.

My husband does the same types of things
He does almost all of the cooking (he is a much better cook than me), helps me clean, and does ALL of the grocery shopping! He also helps me with the laundry and makes me coffee every morning. Since he works outside of the house and I work from home, he usually goes grocery shopping on his way to work. I mean, he even does "tampon runs" for me! LOL! I feel so lucky!

I guess the government should implement a "change of life circumstances" form so we have to have approval from these people before something bad happens in our lives. They have such attitudes, don't they?
These are the type of people who carry their attitudes into their jobs and cause other people problems.

It should not matter who types it - as an MT we are bound
by rules and regulation, HIPPA, etc. If I ended up typing their report I would not tell anyone (not even DH) because that is against rules (maybe they are my own, but if word leaked out that I typed their reports it would be by my own mouth). Besides...I don't think the press can find out the name of the Transcriptionist who types the reports. If so, then it would be because the supervisor gave them your name and then she/he could get in trouble. There are just some things nobody should know, and even though they are Hollywood legends their bodies function the same way ours do and they are no different than Sam, Joe, Judy or Bob when typing a report for them.

On animal planet they were featuring types of SM
animals and snakes, etc. with two heads. I know in some cultuers these animals are felt to be holy and a gift from God. I felt sorry for them when I saw them.

I'm sure a lot of people at the hospital are selling these types of stories
to the tabloid shows and the tabloids. Unfortunately, stories like this sell. Yes, whoever the source is should be fired.

Please, actually GO to www.snopes.com and read what they have to say about this negative e-email that has been circulating for months now. Right there at snopes, they debunk/clarify all of these mean-spirited accusations.
Specifically about it being factual and verified by snopes, it is NOT verified by them. Below I copied one paragraph from snopes.com but please go there read it in full so that you can hopefully choose not to pass on this Internet e-mail full of misinformation.

Me again - Even if you do not care for Barack Obama, surely you do not wish to pass on lies or misinformation and engage in or extend the negative campaigning we all hope to NOT see much of... at least, I hope this is true, especially of people who talk about being Christian.
At least open your mind enough to read what Obama has to say about all of this misinformation. Between snopes.com and his own website, then make a decision whether or not to engage in actively passing on misinformation. Snopes is a great place to verify information that comes to all of us in these emails.
