You have no idea how timely your question is for me. I'm wrestling with this right now. I'm married (more happily than not), the other man is also married (I suspect they're having a lull right now). He just confessed his feelings to me that I didn't think existed, that he always loved me. We've known each other 20 years. He asked why we never took it farther. Well, he gave me clear signs he DIDN'T want that all along. So now we're both kicking ourselves for not being more assertive, we had both been waiting for the other one to make the first step.
I can't complain about my husband.
I wouldn't have an affair, and I won't leave him. But the other man is hanging on my mind. I have to get past it. I can't give up the friendship, though...
So yes, I love them both, absolutely. It's eating me up, too.
