for hubby's clothing (he is the sensitive one!) and liquid Gain or Cheer good smelly stuff for my stuff and sheets, towels, etc. The Kirkland works great though. I have the big Sears front loader set so have to be careful and get HE detergent.

Arm & Hammer unscented, no bleach...sm
used to use Tide but it's gotten to expensive. I have allergies and these are the only 2 products to date that I've found that I'm not allergic to.
I would hit Costco or Sam's Club and grab (sm)
some big bags of tortilla chips and salsa, something more bland maybe for the kids - and maybe even offer hotdogs/buns for the kids so they won't waste friend chicken?   You can also buy big cans of Bush's Baked Beans and I'd get a potato salad or macaroni salad as well - you want them to fill up on the less expensive items so you don't run out of meat - kids usually love spaghetti also - that and some french bread would be a good side - I worry about fried chicken and the mess... have fun!!
Whatever's on sale & unscented. Scented makes me itch! (nm)

fabric softener and have not had any problems. I stopped using those sheets years ago.
Terro liquid
I buy it at Wal-Mart. Put some in an inconspicuous (?sp) place and watch those little critters run to it and lap it up. Then they take it back to their nest and presto...no more ants!

I also buy a big bag of Terro Granules and sprinkle all around the perimeter of my home as well as around the trees and flower beds. Keeps 'em away just like the stuff the pros use.
Liquid Tide, but I look for sales.
