calcium deficiency anyone?
and does yours hurt down to and including the bones? Were you diagnosed with a deficiency or did you just try the supplement on your own? Thanks.
Vitamin D deficiency?

Anyone ever been diagnosed with this?

My rheumatologist's office called this morning to tell me that my blood tests showed a deficiency. My doctor is going to call this afternoon to discuss it with me. Apparently, it's not so uncommon in regions that lack sunshine?

Read up on omega fatty acids - often a deficiency (sm)
can cause those types of symptoms. I have been giving them to my son and he does seem to be calmer. My daughter eats them in the omega acid enriched eggs, son does not, but I found some gummy omega fatty acid supplements at Target. Do a search on it and you will find tons of info. I would try other things before I tried medication and only turn to medication if it was absolutely necessary.
A lot of gastric bypass patients have vitamin D deficiency
also iron, calcium, and B12. But I have known other people who also had a D deficiency.
magnesium
I could be wrong but I think I read on here somewhere that someone took magnesium right before bed and it worked great.
Found help in magnesium-sm
Several sources - including an MD on the Today show - advocate taking 500-750 mg of magnesium just as you are ready to lie down.  I have found it a lifesaver.  I was sleeping in 2 hours snatches - now I sleep wonderfully.  It is listed in several books on menopause.  Benadryl leaves me feeling hung over.
Magnesium supplements may help (sm)
Magnesium-calcium imbalance can cause eye twitching. Might be worth a try
slip him some magnesium
And if he won't take them, beans are full of magnesium. Serve him up some beans. They will put him in a better mood and you can all laugh when he farts....
Guess I will have to go the magnesium
route as I drink no alcohol at all. Before long I will be a walking drug store with all the supplements, vitamins I am taking. Just started the D and C last couple of weeks, next magnesium.
So magnesium and zinc help anxiety? sm
My son has been helped a lot with omega fatty acid supplements. A lot of kids appear depressed or anxious when they are deficient in omega fatty acids. So if magnesium and zinc also help I'd like to try that too.

Thanks
calcium binds to magnesium
so take that into consideration if you want more magnesium.
Magnesium is a natural muscle relaxant sm
I'd take it before bed. Myself, I get very relaxed and woozy if I take it, so I go to bed. Red raspberry leaf tea is supposed to be very good for cramps. I am allergic to them, so I can't tell you how that works.
I fertilize my garden with kelp and magnesium
And I take a supplement. It is wonderful stuff. I filter my water also and take vitamins, but guilty of not giving up diet sodas!

There are a lot of yoga positions for thyroid also that you can really feel it working!
