Magnesium-calcium imbalance can cause eye twitching. Might be worth a try

Hubby definitely into supplements and the like
so I will ask him to research about what you have said above and ask him to get for me. I might have said in the first post, the leg pains (only of a night)wake me from sleep. I at 1 time (knocking on wood as I type this) had electrical currents that would shoot up thru my foot- only when I walked and never knew when it was going to happen. These leg pains are deep, deep aching pains and when I wake, cannot find a comfortable position. Is this what your hubby had or similar? Don't know how the antidepressant would work, have never been advised to take but then again, have nothing for the deep aches either. Tell me how he was diagnosed, treatment so far, etc. Thanks.
Have you ever tried zinc supplements
for flares?

Any new foods? Is there any particular food she eats too much of do you think?

Hope she gets better soon.
My vet is recommending EPA (fish oil) supplements

Has anyone tried these for their pets? Have you seen any improvement?

The fentanyl helped some. About an hour after we placed the patch, his spirits improved quite a bit and he was able to get around okay, once he got up (which was difficult). Of course we restricted his movements but as long as he was walking, not running or jumping, we let him move around.

This morning he is not able to move around a whole lot. Just a few feet from one room to another.

So is there any real chance that the EPA supplement will work? The vet seems to think so. Anyone with direct experience?

Flax oil and taurine supplements helped me tremendously (sm)
Mine is now pretty much gone but any time I feel bad I start back on the flax oil (oil not capsules) and it helps tremendously. I hope you feel better soon!
Omega fatty acid supplements helped my son a lot (sm)
I just by the gummy supplements brand name Little Critters at Target. After a couple of weeks on them, my son himself, at the age of 9, recognized the difference in how he felt and he now reminds me when we run out, that I need to get him some more.
magnesium
I could be wrong but I think I read on here somewhere that someone took magnesium right before bed and it worked great.
Found help in magnesium-sm
Several sources - including an MD on the Today show - advocate taking 500-750 mg of magnesium just as you are ready to lie down.  I have found it a lifesaver.  I was sleeping in 2 hours snatches - now I sleep wonderfully.  It is listed in several books on menopause.  Benadryl leaves me feeling hung over.
slip him some magnesium
And if he won't take them, beans are full of magnesium. Serve him up some beans. They will put him in a better mood and you can all laugh when he farts....
magnesium deficiency

Guess I will have to go the magnesium
route as I drink no alcohol at all. Before long I will be a walking drug store with all the supplements, vitamins I am taking. Just started the D and C last couple of weeks, next magnesium.
So magnesium and zinc help anxiety? sm
My son has been helped a lot with omega fatty acid supplements. A lot of kids appear depressed or anxious when they are deficient in omega fatty acids. So if magnesium and zinc also help I'd like to try that too.

Thanks
calcium binds to magnesium
so take that into consideration if you want more magnesium.
Are you on hormones? Tried oil supplements into your diet? Flax seed oil? Coconut oils? Research

Magnesium is a natural muscle relaxant sm
I'd take it before bed. Myself, I get very relaxed and woozy if I take it, so I go to bed. Red raspberry leaf tea is supposed to be very good for cramps. I am allergic to them, so I can't tell you how that works.
I fertilize my garden with kelp and magnesium
And I take a supplement. It is wonderful stuff. I filter my water also and take vitamins, but guilty of not giving up diet sodas!

There are a lot of yoga positions for thyroid also that you can really feel it working!
