Watch out I just figured out how to do this

Hey now, this is how we need to all transcribe, with three little assistants to help us all. Adia on the bookshelf. Vincent on the desk and Tristen on the shelf. Vincent has since crossed the rainbow bridge, he is sorely missed by all. Anyone else out there able to match this for helpers in photographic evidence, lets have a contest.

I figured....

....that they meant for people to think the monitor strip was an EEG and that she had brain cancer. Or maybe they just don't have a very good medical advisor for the show.

You're right, there is absolutely no proof that Juliet's sister's tumor recurred. He may have just told Juliet that to keep her on the island and now - voila! - he produces evidence that he "cured" her.

There is still the question of what kind of force was "unleashed" when they let the computer countdown get to zero without putting in the code. There was a tremendous effect at the time but there hasn't been much said about it since. That's one of the questions I want answered....

I figured

that it was probably normal nerves, I had the same kind of nerves before my hubbie and I got married I was so nervous about it changing our relationship which it did but it changed it in such a good way.  I feel like a child would just deepen our relationship but then I start thinking about other things... I desperately want to be a good mother but also a good wife.  Oh well the only way to find out is just go ahead with our plans to try and have a baby.  We have many nieces and nephews and he is absolutely wonderful with them.  We also were with his cousin this past weekend who has an 18 month old, the kid loved my hubbie!!  She would just talked to him and she even told him she loved him before we left.  He talked about how sweet she was and how sweet it was she said that to him.  I think he will be such a good father.  Thanks for letting me know it is just normal nerves that helps!!!

I had one, but I figured out the cause
and quit doing that. For me I get one if I'm doing anything that puts unusual pressure on my wrist in a certain position. Triggers include pushups, weight lifting (probably had my wrist in the wrong position back in HS), and handsprings. If you could figure out the trigger you might be able to modify your wrist position. Mine always went away.
I figured it would be a cut in pay but

how much, I don't know.  When I worked in house I was happier, lost weight, fixed myself up more and felt better. I liked being able to work my hours and then forget it.  Here, I feel chained to a computer.   Now that I am at home, I have gained weight, haven't worn make-up in 6 months, really finding it hard to be motivated to do anything.  I would go back in but it is too far to drive, 50 miles.

The school is only a block away.  I could go to work, come home and enjoy.  No computer malfunctions, no worrying about making quota on line counts,  I feel it is time for a change.  Then again, I am having a bad computer day.  After being down for 2 hours I had to make myself get back on when we finally could and work again and now I have to make up the hours I lost.

I figured they would drag it out more, but (sm)
something about the way they showed previews for today, showing the back door of the church.  I don't know.  Yes, Phyllis is an EXCELLENT actress.
never mind, i figured it out nm
nm
I finally figured out how to add a pic...
I love everyones pics of their pets, so here's my girl Sara sleeping with my son.  She is 7 years old and we rescued her from the pound when she was 5 months.
This is how my fibro figured out
I had not a clue when I went to the doctor, shoulders really hurting me, so sore and tender. Doc got me to lie on my stomach and started to palpate my spine. When you jump off the table with pain, then you have fibro.
I haven't actually figured it up...sm
But I would say about $100-$150 a week on food. There are 3 of us in the family. Me, my son, and my husband.
both my kids figured it
My kids never believed in Santa, and they would ask is there one and I would say yes, and change the subject because my kids have big mouths and would have marched into preschool and "educated" everyone else. So the answer is yes, change the subject, don't drag it out. Don't educate the rest of the three year olds by being "honest" with your kids. We just minimalized the importance of it and get on with the rest of christmas.
My current cat doesn't watch much TV, but my last one liked to watch hockey. sm
He would sit in front of the TV and swat at the puck now and then. The only time my current 4-year-old cat watches TV is if the TiVo restarts for some reason and that little animated video comes on with the dancing TV and the loud music. He's fascinated by that and will come running to sit and watch it.
My daughter (the youngest) figured it out
at about age 12 or 13 when she was awake when I put a quarter under her pillow for a tooth. She didn't let on to me, but says now (she's 17) that she extrapolated on her own that if the Tooth Fairy didn't exist, probably Santa didn't either. She says she never felt lied to, and cherishes the magic she felt back then.
I miss free XM radio on AOL, but figured that
nm
Yes, we called him 'gay Elvis' before we figured out
x
I actually watch Fox as much as CNN, but (sm)
I am a Democrat and I'm a news nut, so I pretty much divided my time between the 2 channels.

My only gripe with Fox is when they rag on other news shows and/or reporters/anchors. I find it pretty unprofessional, but other than that, I appreciate the diversity. And I'm a long-time fan of Bill Hemmer. I was pleasantly surprised to see him pop up on Fox ;-)
I only watch Fox...
and I am a Republican, but I don't think that's why.  I like their whole set up as far as different shows all day and I enjoy Hannity and Colmes as much as The Factor.  They do lean more conservatively, but I think they have a pretty decent mix of all points of view.
I don't watch much TV either
The number of commercial interruptions is something I can't stand - there are so many FOOD COMMERCIALS!  No wonder this country has a weight problem.  We are given subliminal messages to eat, eat, eat!  I like Animal Planet and Discovery Channel mostly but that's about it.
why would you want to watch
it's the same dialogue day after day after day, with the same expressions day after day after day, do these people seriously go the the job site and read these lines and make these expressions day after day, what a waste of time when they could be doing something good, but worst are the people who sit and watch the same dialogue and expressions day after day after day, when they could be doing something good.
Okay, well I watch it
every day and have all my life that I can remember! I don't remember a Maureen, so when I read what I did, I had no idea who it was talking about. How did you know she had a connection with Amelia and Sam?
You better watch yourself!
I just may have to write you as well and talk about my favorite thing in the world! That would bring you into the forbidden chain! Thank you so much! God gave us these beautiful animals to co-exist with, and we can all learn so much from them. I just love cats as well. They are all different. You can have 1000 cats and 1000 different pets totally. Thanks again!
I will keep a watch out for him.
I will also see if I get CMT. Thanks for the info.
Don't watch it always but I really like... sm
The blond 16-year-old (can't remember her name), she sang "I love you more today than yesterday" and I also really like the guy with the dredlocks, but can't remember his name either!!
I watch!
I love history, thanks to some gifted teachers I had back in grade school. They told us that in order to understand and enjoy history, you must put historical information in context. That is, you need to remember the PEOPLE and relate to them. These were people just like the rest of us with the same concerns for family, home, safety, etc. So, I always try to imagine me doing the things that people in history did. If things were so bad in the U.S. today, could I fight to change and throw off that government, then work to build a new country? It's amazing what these people did.

So, I've always tried to imagine myself in the position of the people we learn about in history. I try to imagine life in their time, and try to imagine doing what they did in the current time.

And when it comes to David McCullough, I can't praise enough. He can bring history alive for even the most history-hating person. I highly recommend his book on which this series is based. There is far more detail. The series really doesn't show the depth of the friendship between John Adams and Thomas Jefferson. They were the fastest of friends and admired and respected each other greatly. That friendship developed during their time together in France, but that part of John Adams' life was only briefly shown. I believe the next episode will show how their friendship crumbled when they were President and Vice-President together.

Oh! I also have to admit that since I live in Philadelphia, it's very easy for me to imagine these events in the place where they happened. Back in the early 1980s, I worked just across the street and on the eastern corner from Independence Hall. Prior to the 9/11 security, I could simply wander in and out of that building, and all the other historic buildings in the area. I used to just sit on a bench and look at that building and imagine Adams, Jefferson and all the others walking in and out of the place.

If you really like American history, I also recommend McCullough's book on Harry S Truman. I downloaded it as an audiobook and listened to it on my iPod. I loved it, and I hear it is also in the works for an HBO miniseries.
How can you watch her do this?
It scares me just looking down there. Does it bother you. She's a cutie.
OMG! Watch this!
Link below...
Don't watch much of anything then, do
Just kidding.
I don't watch much TV but when I do -
Tudor - I am hooked. I love the characters - especially King Henry ;-)

Also catch House and Red Eye. Don't watch too many shows because after awhile they become predictable.

Also, can't wait for the new season of True Blood.
let the dog watch you
When my teenage son picks on the dog, I just wrestle him to the ground and pretend to pound him into submission and I get the dog to join in. She still mostly avoids him and prefers me, but maybe when your son walked in, he was alpha, you changed the way you were behaving and the dog just picked up on it.

Snapping a dish towel on the head of your grown son can be really good for the soul!
No - I did not watch the trial

start to finish, as I had to work.  I lived in LA at that time.  I think the timing of this was crucial - just after the Rodney King debacle.  I think Johnnie Cochran was very charming and had that jury in the palm of his hands.  I think the investigation was botched.  I'm not an expert on the trial and it's true, I don't know everything about it, but just my opinion.  Even if he didn't do it, who in the heck would write this kind of book - it's just distgustingly insensitive to the victim's family, who think he did do it and who were there from start to finish.

I don't get to watch Dr. Phil much, but I did --sm
happen to see the same show you are talking about. It was VERY eye opening. I felt so bad for the woman who was involved with this scammer. It is much the same as women who get *involved* with men in prison. All these men want is money and they do not care who they get it from.
Even if the mom has no money, he does not care. His *anger* is just a ploy to make her feel guilty. I can guarantee that he has no son, he is not who he says he is, and he is probably in the middle east somewhere, as I do believe the man on Dr. Phil was in the middle east and tried to pass off his accent as from somewhere else. Please don't be too hard on your mom. She is vulnerable and *love smit*, but she needs to know the truth. Perhaps contact the Dr. Phil show and they may send a tape of that show, or he may have some personal advice for her. Good luck.
I like to watch sports... sm
I like pro hockey and the NFL.  But are they overpaid?  OMG yes.  I can't believe what some of those guys get to hit a ball or tackle somebody.  It's insane.  Not to mention the special treatment they get when they break the law.  Anybody else would be sitting in jail for some of the stuff they get away with.
I do not watch AI except very, very rarely, BUT.....

I have 12-year-old daughter and I feel she is just as entitled to vote as I am (if I voted which I don't).  This is America and we all have rights no matter our age.

Now, if older people are playing games with the voting, that is a whole other story and AI should change their voting policy somehow so it is fair and the most talented person wins.

No, I asked did you watch all of the
case when it was on, all.
did you even WATCH last night?

in Africa and in the Adirondacks in this country and NOLA.  This was not the usual american idol - no one got booted off the show and they collected MILLIONS of dollars during this 2-hour special.

Unless you watched it last night, best hold your tongue because you have no clue.......last night was not a REALITY show American Idol -

AGAIN, IT WAS A TELETHON.......

And I would say to your post, WATCH out
I had a little girl who came for the summer to stay with her father and his family down our street. The child came to play with my daughter. She was so nice, sweet, etc. but my hubby then told me to watch out, the child had loads of issues. Now how he would know that, I sure was not seeing it. Bottom lining it, my child had a bird and this little girl decided to kick the cage with the bird in it. My daughter told her to stop, 1 thing lead to another and the visiting child wound up biting my daughter all over her back, shoulders, etc. On taking my daughter to the emergency room, the nurse there said worse case of bites she had seen in her 20 years experience. I had shown this child nothing by niceness and yet this is what wound up happening.
If you didn't know them before, watch out.
You will be their best friend while they are in prison, they will probably want you to keep sending or bringing them things. Usually you will never hear from them again when they are released. Not always, but often that's what happens. Just beware.
Does anyone watch Days??
m
Does anybody watch Big Love?

I really like the actors. Call me naive but does this kind lifestyle really go on in Utah and other states? I'm from the northeast and can't even imagine. I find it fascinating.  And, boy, could I use another wife or two, myself! LOL

I wanted to watch but...
Ol' big mouth Oprah won't let anyone else get a word in...she thinks she knows it all.
I watch it too and I'm Jewish. :)
xx
Can anyone watch this without crying?

http://youtube.com/watch?v=PYBz2gjEfA

I sure couldn't.  It gets me so upset I actually felt ill, but at the same time I wish everyone thinking of getting a pet could watch it.  Hope I posted the link correctly.  It's on shelter animals.  The title is "In Hope, An Animal Shelter Story."

We were forbidden to watch
Bewitched
I Dream of Jeanie
Laugh In
Donahue

Mom was leery of:
Star Trek

Rolled her eyes over:
Gilligan's Island
Hee Haw

Yeah, I watch CSI and
Cold Case and all that and he is usually right there watching some of it too. Also, we listen to country music most of the time and there's this song out now that I think he really listens to!
Did anyone watch The View this--sm
morning and get the name of the book/author Whoopie was talking about?  It was "The Education of???" It is about a young Indian boy and his life. It was an Ophra book club book until she found out the author (who is now dead) was in the KKK and she pulled the book from her list. We live in Cherokee, NC and my kids are into tribal life.
That sounds like fun to watch! LOL NM
X
I own it on DVD, but can't bring myself to actually watch it!
It seems way too sad! My husband will never watch it with me because it's a "chick flick." LOL!
Please watch your language

It is okay to disagree with any particular post, but unnecessary to use vulgar language.

but that's the thing, someone might watch and come up
with the money or get involved and form an organization to raise the money....exposure goes a long, long way beyond knowledge. Sometimes it reeps action and she can hit the masses to find the people who have the resources and drive.
Oh my...I'm not going to watch or read about it.
I almost cried just reading your post, I better stay away from the rest or I'll be bawling.

So sad.
Thanks mt2! I never watch commercials
drives my DH crazy cuz I always grab the remote from him during commercials to change the channels. I have gotten very good at watching at least 3 shows at one time. Guess maybe I should have been a man. LOL!
I like it here. I like to watch the lemmings.
