in our front garden. It wasn't a scream, but it sounded more like a bird than a frog, and we couldn't see the animal, just hear him. Every time the oscillating sprinkler showered water on a particular spirea bush, we heard this song wail out. I went looking for a bird, but couldn't find it. Later we saw a big toad in the garden, so I think it was him. It didn't sound like an amphibian to us.
