Couldn't you just scream?
Have had professional painters do the inside of my homes at different times. They all said NOTHING gets paint out of carpet.

I would call the kid's mom and tell her. It probably won't do any good as far as the carpet goes, but I would be sure and tell her that her child was not welcome in your home anymore.
I know it makes me want to scream...sm
Nobody takes my job seriously. If I am working my husband has been known to call and say I need you to look something up on the computer or give me so and so's phone #.
My parents divorced last year and my mom who I love dearly and would do anything for me gets lonely in the evenings when she comes home from work. Well I work in the evenings. She will come over but when she sees I'm working she is pretty good about going on about her business. My son will answer the door for her so I don't have to get up and then she says oh you are working. Well I will go. See some evenings I have work, some not.
My dad, on the other hand, is a complete nutcase who has no respect for anyone and no consideration. He will call my phone repeatedly while he KNOWS I am working. I have answered before and said I'm working, can't talk so he will quit calling. Nope. He will call you 10 minutes later. I actually changed my # due to him calling repeatedly when I would say I am working. My husband even answered the phone and told him she is working. I'll tell her to call you back later. 10 minutes later he calls back. My husband says what is the deal? I had give him my # again after changing it because he got sick and I felt obligated to give it to him in case of an emergency. I said but do not call my phone repeatedly. Well he is right back to the repeated calling. So I just turn it off now.
So when you don't answer he just comes and knocks and knocks and knocks. Tonight I didn't answer one time when he came and knocked cause I was working and don't know that I would have answered it if I hadn't been. So he leaves and comes back 30 minutes later drives up to my office window (which has a curtain) and shines his headlights in the window and starts blowing the horn. I was SO ticked off. He doesn't care if you don't want to be bothered or not. I went to the door and said WHAT DO YOU WANT? I AM WORKING. Which he knew anyways. I am just gonna have to start not answering calls at all. Not answering the door. If he shines his lights in my office I will just have to ignore it and keep typing. (Like that will be easy to do w/out going to the door and cursing him out.)
Oh well, that is my life. Sorry so long.
Anyone ever heard a frog scream? sm
At 3:30 this morning I woke up to what sounded like a cat fight in my hallway.  There was a bit of hissing and that meow/screaming sound a cat will make.  I knew it couldn't be my cats, they never fight.  One of my cats (using the doggy door) brought in a small frog.  Not the first creature he has brought in, have had moles, birds, and frogs before.  He doesn't actucally kill them at least not until he plays (tortures) first.  He picked the frog up in his mouth and the frog screamed.  I was stunned.  I managed to get the frog away from the cat and he really didn't seem hurt just traumatized.  I let him out the front door (cat only goes in the fenced in backyard.)  Just thought this was a weird story and wanted to share.
I've heard a catfish scream, but never a frog

ROFL, hey Tech, still got knots on your head, bet she did scream at you...sm

but not in a good way.  Your humor makes me laugh!  Hope your wife didn't stay mad long.  Another good mark for you, at least you didn't lie or omit that you're married.  Hey use some of that money you saved from the butler and buy your wife some flowers to replace that frying pan she's chasing you around with

Keep up the great jokes though, you make this board what it's supposed to be, fun!
