We have Cingular...sm

and have no problems at all.  We do have a lot of extras though which does increase the cost, i.e. roadside assistance, internet, IM, insurance, etc.  We have 1400 minutes to share and don't use them all because of Cingular to Cingular calling, almost everyone we know has Cingular too.  Our contract is up soon and we plan to downsize our plan (losing lots of minutes tho').  Our bill runs $130 monthly with DH work discount.  I'm sure you can get a lower cost plan.  Our coverage is wonderful too.
