What would you do if...

A coworker you have been working with for two years revealed to me and another MT that they are suicidal due to financial problems and inability to pay for medications which may be part of the emotional problems. 

Apparently, this person got a mtg that was an ARM without realizing it and her mtg payment adjusted to a significantly higher amount.  Cannot refi as was late on a few payments at one time. 

I have just gotten over a sibling's suicide in the last two months and am beside myself with this.  I would be sent over the edge if she were to carry this threat out.  In fact, sent money to her as I had it available and before thinking it through just did it. 

Any thoughts on this very serious problem?
