No ultrasound
Stories like these are very reason we decided to skip ultrasound during both of my pregnancies. Overall, I was healthy, heartbeats were strong, and the baby was growing as it should, so no ultrasound for me.

But watch out for big-headed babies - I had one - it was a killer :-) He was perfectly healthy and I just tell him he needs that big head for all his brains.

Hoping everything is wonderful with your pregnancy and your little one.
ultrasound
My kids ultrasounds said that too, even in the womb kids grow differently..don't worry unless your doc says to. I had identical twins and they had different due dates according to my ultrasounds, they were born the same day and almost the same weight!!
ultrasound
just went for physical exam. Complained of pelvic pain. Hoped it was just from my c-section scar tissue. Doctor sent for ultrasound. During ultrasound, the radiology tech decided to switch to transvaginal. She explained that the doctor would ask her why she didn't do this if she hadn't done it. Should I be worried. My doctor is not back in her office until Tuesday. going coocoo waiting.
Ultrasound at 7 weeks?
Ack - I didn't realize docs were doing these so soon. There are so many variables in pregancies (and children) that I wouldn't be too concerned. But, after all the ultrasound horror stories that I have heard over the years, we skipped ultrasounds with both of our children. I had normal pregnancies and there was no reason to have one.

I measured completely different with both of my children through my pregnancies and with good reason, the first was 10 pounds 4 ounces, the second was 7 pounds 14 ounces.

I hope everything is fine, please let us know.
The reason they did the 2nd ultrasound was...sm
when I went for the monthly checkup yesterday they didn't hear the heartbeat on the external doppler; however, at my stage they told me before hand that they don't always hear it. They said that since I had the prior miscarriage that if I'd like they could do the ultrasound just so we could see the heartbeat and confirm all was still going well. The midwife I saw was just as surprised as my husband & I that the sonogram gave the results it did. We see the doctor this afternoon after the lab results come back from the blood work they drew yesterday. I am having some light spotting this morning. I'm trying to stay calm in case the sonogram was wrong but know that more than likely the baby did die.
thyroid ultrasound
I have a family history of thyroid cancer but also many family members with thyroid disease, so on a routine exam a few months ago the doctor immediately noticed my thyroid was significantly enlarged and sent me for an ultrasound. Of note I never did think to tell them at the time there was a family history. It showed bilateral hypoechoic solid nodules and the radiologist recommended another followup test in a few months for stability. I know nothing about radiology. Should I be worried?  Thank you.
My GM had it under her breasts and my.

Things not to say to people!! Ultrasound tech said (sm)
After doing my ultrasound for an ovarian cyst she says as I am getting up, "are you still having your cycles?"  Thanks. I'm 40.
breasts are not genitalia........

I once saw a lady on TV with MM breasts
It was on Geraldo or one of those back in the talk-show boom days about 15 years ago. She was size MM and it was really gross. They looked like they would burst at any second.
Anyone out there have their baby's ultrasound and gestational estimates not match?
I'm 7-8 weeks pregnant according to the last menstrual period;  however, at the doctors office on  ultrasound today it appeared that I'm only 5-1/2 to 6 weeks.  The technician thought she saw a yolk sac.  They drew a HCG and will repeat this on Wednesday.  Anyone else have this happen and what was the outcome?  My husband & I are trying to not worry and are focusing on being positive until we find out the lab results on Thursday.
You're welcome! Turkey breasts are often
in the frozen section with the whole turkeys.
No wonder - 10 hrs is WAY too long for chicken breasts, unless sm
they are frozen. You can dump them right in the pot, frozen solid and 8-10 hrs would be just right. Also certain veg (squash in particular) would totally lose it in that time. Eww.
ACTUALLY, it is pay off the smaller ones first . . .sm
Dave Ramsey says put $1,000 dollars in savings for emergencies and then start by paying off low balances first. THIS AVOIDS FRUSTRATION. You can actually see accounts disappear instead of working on the big accounts first. You THEN take the payment you were making from the card you just paid off and snowball it into the next lowest balance, paying off extra each month. This way you can actually see progress and avoid frustration.
Pay off 2 of the smaller cc and take a well - sm
deserved vacation with the rest. ----Or just bank it for an emergency like loss of job.
Not sure but I think they are for smaller sm
I have a large chest too and occasionally wear a push-up bra but take out the padding (usually the padding is removable) that is underneath. You could also probably get away with just making the straps shorter on a regula bra with wider-set straps.
I agree with you. True, breasts are not genitalia, but
they are considered related to sexuality anyway. I realize a lot of that is because of society, but that's just the way it is. Times have changed and we have to adapt. Just because breastfeeding in public was acceptable 50 years ago, that may have changed. I for one would not want to breastfeed in public. I prefer to keep all my parts hidden. I would not want someone else being able to see my breasts. I cringe when I have to go have a mammogram because it makes me very uncomfortable to have someone else seeing my breast even though it is a very necessary part of medical care. By the same token, I don't want to be able to see someone else's breast either. Cover it with a blanket or go somewhere less public. JMO.
So if I get a smaller chair...LOL

How about a smaller dish? nm

It is much smaller than it looks. See message.
Definitely don't count on putting a water bottle in there. Also, cute little pocket for the cell phone - whenever the purse is not on your shoulder this pocket is upside down, and when Velcro wears out or if it doesn't stick well, phone falls out.

And that front pocket where they always show some stuff sticking out of there? That is a zippered pocket that is left unzipped to put stuff in there, and whenever you open the main compartment of the purse, that pocket is also upside down and everything falls out. If you only need a really small purse for a night out or something it might be okay. My sister was going to get one, but after she saw mine in real life she said no way.
wrong - God gave you breasts to feed your babies

I believe God gave women breasts to feed their young and did NOT give us breasts for *sexual pleasure* regardless that we get sexual pleasure from them.

The reality is that God gave women breasts to breast-feed........not just for poor people in 3rd world countries.  I breastfed mine until they were 6 months old..........it's an individual thing but I went by the teeth thingy - once teeth are in, time to start weaning.

Older than stated age, pendulous breasts, and docs who...
use elderly for anyone under 70!
and you could put some smaller toys in big pinata....

Yes, this is also true: With smaller ones in the face..
they use laser nowadays, before that just electricity or a saline injection.
Yes, sore breasts and missed period are definitely good indicators...
take a test already and let us know--lol
I've given dry + canned + cubed skinless chicken breasts.
Snacks have been:

1. Generic "beggin' strips" like you.
2. Cheese bits, but little or no other dairy.
3. Now and then (expensive), dried chicken strips that have glucosamine & chondroitin for joints. Otherwise, I use a powder with G & S that says it also adds fiber. A couple of tbsp of this mixed in their food per day.

The chicken I add is one breast between two dogs AM and PM, so they each get one whole chicken breast per day (skinless, removing any fat). I also let them lick the two baking dishes whenever I fix the chicken. Now and then they also do the dinner dishes in order to save on our hot water bill. They're such good kitchen help I've been trying to get them dishwasher jobs, but the only restaurant that was interested didn't offer benefits. :)
Smaller total amount of more feedings?
Have you tried feeding him more than 2-3 times a day and just putting a smaller overall amount in the dish? He might think he's actually getting more.
Hi, NightOwl, We can split, you take the larger one, I take the smaller ones! LOL...nm
