he's not a loser because he has seizures, he's a loser because
we have to pay an exterminator to keep away the mice. He doesn't like to be petted. He pees and poops on things when he has seizures. I'm not saying he is a loser because he has seizures but because he pees and poops on things and the other things I mentioned. If he was your cat, I'm sure you would just kick him to the curb.
I don't see why not if the seizure sm
disorder is under control. That would kind of being against the American's With Disabilities Act wouldn't it?
Does that mean that her loser

He did marry her didn't he?  Or maybe that other loser who says he is her baby's daddy will get his hands on it?

I wish I had an eating disorder
for one think it would be pretty cool. I just want to get more attention from my man, friends and family members who don't pay enough attention. When I pick up the mags I see all the thin models like Nicole Ritchie and Ms. Hilton. They are stars for being super thin. I know I can't reach that fame but if I look thin I know I will have more options. I know some of you won't agree with me but that is the way society is going. Get thin or die trying.

Eating Disorder
My 22-year-old niece has an eating disorder. Her Cardiologist sent her home to die. She is in a wheelchair now. The doctors give her less than 6 months to live. Be careful for what you wish for. Skinny is NOT worth dying for. Your post is so sad.
Ah, so you have the other disorder, you know, the one where you are delusional? LOL

I feel like a loser
My husband and I have been together for 9 years and we have a 3 yr old son. Our relationship problems center around his anger, anxiety issues, addiction to pot, and lack of ambition.

Since our child was born, he's had 4 jobs, the last he recently dropped out of/got fired from because he says, he can't handle it due to the stress of his father's death 2 months ago. I want to be understanding of his grief, but at the same time, I am soooo frustrated with him and this last job feels like it was the last straw for me.

He is living off of his inheritance which I feel should be used toward our child's education. He is on anti-depressant/anti-anxiety meds which I don't see helping his anxiety and anger at all. We cannot communicate at all.

I waiver between wanting a divorce and feeling horrible about what it would do to our child. What is in the best interest of our child? How would custody work for us? I want his father to have a part in our child's life but I also want full custody.
He is both a smoker and a loser...
She's on the pill, has been for around a year or so...I'm also concerned about the psychological impact this will have on her later on down the road. I hate to know she will have to live with this regret, which I know will happen, because I've been there myself.
Maybe you do have an eating disorder. You don't have to be thin
to have one.    If your weight is an issue you the one that has the power to change it.   Been overweight all of my entire life, but this is the year I'm determined to tackle it.  Just too bad I didn't do it 20 years ago.
And Kim has a panic disorder and is agoraphobic.
It's no secret she has a bunch of mental disoders. As I said, the poor kid. Can't win.

this is the one I was referrring to.

Sounds like a personality disorder
to me. Perhaps Borderline Personality Disorder, or personality disorder NOS. Maybe, though, it is hormonal. An abundance in testosterone CAN cause aggressive behavior, mood fluctuations, etc.

I hope you get to the root of the problem. But, the main thing that concerns me is his unwillingness to be evaluated or even admit that there may be a problem. This is what leads me to believe it's a personality disorder (borderline). People afflicted with this and anti-social personality disorder often do not admit that anything is off keel with themselves. Rather, it's alway's *someone else's* problem/matter/issue.

Good luck to you. I'll be thinking of you. Please keep us posted. The erratic behavior is really concerning.
you don't have to be skinny to have an eating disorder
and even though it sounds like you hurt your metabolism you CAN lose weight. it's all about calories in, calories out.
A sore loser? I saw it and I think she was truly shocked.

Daughter's father, now that was a loser!
And yes I did choose him and yes we were married. Cruel to me, beat me (years ago when laws were not like they are today, police not on lady's side, felt like you were property of husband), slight support from him only through the court system, have no contact with him and she wished no contact with him either. He tried to contact her after she was grown and she said no to him. She is very close to her stepfather though, thinks the world of him.
Who got eliminated on Biggest Loser?
Didn't change clock on my video recorder.  Thanks!
My scumbag loser husband!

Have any of you been diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder?

I have within the last week or so.  Just wondering what meds your doc put you in and if it is helping and how long it helped all of your symptoms.  I guess I was expecting "a feel-good feeling", too, but not really.  The anxiety is definitely better.  Had gone to the ER 3 times in less than a week, thinking it was my heart, but not.

Any help would be appreciated.

Young child and eating disorder?
I am wondering if there is something wrong with my stepson.  I've been married to my hubby now for over a year, but his stepson still will not get close to me and I have stopped trying.  I already feel like he has some developmental problems, as well as learning difficulties (he failed kindergarten).  I just wonder can a young child have some type of eating disorder or do all kids do this?  He will go a day or two and not eat anything and you cannot make him eat and then the next day, you can't fill him up.  It is every 30 minutes he is asking my hubby for something to eat.  And I cook a 3-course dinner every night so he has the opportunity to eat and I fix things he likes.  Sometimes the only way my hubby can make him eat is if he tells him he'll carry him to the doctor if he doesn't eat.  He's almost like an anorexic.  He'll go a few days and hardly eat anything and then for a day or two, he binges.  And he is very skinny and small for his age.  And also sickly.  His nose is always stuffy and you can hear him breathing.  Just want some opinions on this.  Thanks.
I have cleaned my house and now I have adjustment disorder sm
I have been working on my bathroom remodel since Memorial Day. It should have taken 4 weekends and I only just finished on Thanksgiving Day. I did 95% of myself, including cutting holes for and installing, 2 sinks in the vanity. I am pleased, it is gorgeous, but that is another story.

Okay, I put my bedroom back together after 6 months of being a disheveled PIT. I am cleaning the house because my daughter will be home in a couple of weeks to get married at the JP in a nearby town. I still have to make her a dress too...but I wanted the house clean for she and her fiance/husband. It is coming along very well.

My problem? I can't manage a house where I am not stepping over crap on the floor, shifting stuff around so I can get to my clothes or go to bed. This is all new to me, clean floor space and no dust, a place for everything and everything in its place...I can't cope. It is clean AND tidy, the antique linens are pressed and starched, on the surfaces. IT is lovely!!!!

I am depressed now. I don't adjust well to change.
Her daddy is a loser drunk. See, parents
Poor girl!  That family is filled with depression and low IQ.  I hope it all works out for her.
Biggest Loser voting question
I need to vote, but I can't find where to vote!  Shouldn't that be the first thing you see when you go to the website?  Anybody have a link?  I want Roger to stay because I think Mark has reached the limit of healthy weight loss.  If he keeps competing it is not going to be pretty!  Plus his body and mind start breaking down because he pushes himself too hard.
I agree and leaving early not sore loser (sm)
I think that's just graceful, letting the winners have their day plus that had to really sting after the great season they had. But what a great game it was. Both teams should be proud they made it there.
Anyone sign up and use The Biggest Loser weight loss plan? I am

rapidly adding on pounds sitting here most of the day, but don't have a gym nearby and cant afford to be on the road for an hour 1-way to get to the closest one.  Am sliding down the slope to obesity real quick.  Does the information help you?  Is it worth the $$?  Can this be done without an exercise buddy?

Any replies would help - positive, negative, suggested alternative web-based programs.

Thanks~~

Sounds like YOU picked a real loser to sleep around with and have kids with.
You have no one to blame but yourself.
Your son has ADHD, probably combined type along with opposition defiant disorder in a nutshell...sm
Been there for 14 years. Tantrums, fighting constantly with younger brother and sister to the point of injury, i.e. kicking, punching, slapping, throwing hammers, knifes, hard soled shoes, scissors, you name it. He is wonderful outside of the house. He is considered a very nice boy who is very well mannered and a hard worker (as he likes to do yardwork. That part of it is the ADHD at work). I knew something was wrong when he was about 1 1/2 years old and his sister came along and he started hitting her right away. Everyone from teachers to counselors told me it was all my fault and that my son had found a great way of manipulating me. That is...until the fourth grade when two weeks after school started a miraculous thing happened. His teacher called me in to say something was terribly wrong and that she suspected ADHD. I got the referral for testing with a pediatric neurologist and he was diagnosed with ADHD combined type (the hyperactive part), oppositional defiant disorder, and a learning disability. It has been a tortuous 14 years, I can tell you that. I have four more years to go and although I love my son more than words can say, at the age of 18 HE IS OUT THE DOOR!!!
Ditto - but add arrogant and evil to the list of adjectives to describe this loser

You should call....sm
an attorney that deals with bankruptcies and ask them what you can do in this situation and they should be able to help you for a minimal cost.

In most states, if your husband's name is not on the credit card account they cannot go after his credit or try to force him to pay your bill... and vice versa.

For a reality check - the credit card company can seize your bank account and incoming deposits to one, force your employer/clients to turn over money designated for you to them for the debt. If you don't present some sort of offer to pay them a reasonable amount every month then they may choose to do the above things to you and legally can. However, if you can show the courts you can pay "x" a month and the judge thinks it's OK then they wouldn't be able to garnish any monies due to you.

Since you mentioned that you only work part-time, they'll probably suggest that you take on a full-time job to pay this debt.

Call them
Your best bet is to call and tell them what your situation is, that you want to work out a solution with them. Even if you have to refinance with them to get payments lower to a level you can afford, it will be worth it - don't default if you can help it. Nowadays, it can raise your car insurance rates, affect new employment opportunities, etc.

Besides, paying it back is the right thing to do. It will let you keep your self respect.
My dog does it too..but we call them
"kitty biscuits," LOL.  Either way it's gross.  He's been doing it forever, and we can't seem to break him of this habit.
call
I would definitely call them as well. Had this happen and reversed as well. I know there is one cc company that refuses to do that and it happens to be Discover. Many other companies have reversed this for me. Please call and say you thought you paid it off so whats this!
call that b*tch!!
just kidding! :) This is such normal behavior for teenagers, I always told my girls that I coached that college is completely different than high school and there would be MANY changes, no matter how "in love" they thought they were... It is a sad reality, and unfortunately I am not a mom yet but know that when I am I will be dealing with this. I think the only thing you can tell him is the old saying "time heals all wounds" although it doesnot SEEM like he will EVER get over it by the way he is feeling right now, promise him he will. there are better things out there and everything happens for a reason!!! And you said they haven't officially "broken up" yet... you know what's coming obviously... and this is in no way a way to treat someone you love. She is just trying to get out of it easy. good luck, heartbreak is hard. I'm 27 and still go through it :)
Call the guy and ask nm
x
Thanks .. will just call them and see
if I can remove some of the extra charges and go forward. I did not owe much of anything to anyone and then changed jobs and the fun began! I really don't have that much faith in a third party and I learned that from transcription!
sorry- not what I would call fun either
If I get the chance mine will have a fun time at my house!
Can I just call them?
a
Just call me
Simon!!
Call someone now.
I went through the same situation with my father for 8 years (bedridden, dementia, strokes, etc.) and grandfather during those same 8 years and 1 year after that. I got help from my doctor, general practitioner. She is a good listener and knew exactly the direction to guide me for help. I was neglecting my health while taking care of others. I remember one time taking my grandfather to a doctor appointment and asked them to check my blood pressure. It was extremely high and they did not want to let me leave the office. I had to sign a waiver stating that I knew the risks but I also promised to see my physician, which I did immediately. I am now on medications for hypertension, hypothyroidism, depression, and cholesterol. Please take care of yourself now.
I would call.
They might be waiting to see what applicants show a true interest in the job. Doesn't hurt to have your name out there to be noticed and remembered...better than being lost in the shuffle. I wouldn't call again after that though.
God says to call sin for what it is.

Please call someone!
Call your local suicide prevention hotline. Even if you are not suicidal at the moment, with all that is going on in your life, that could change at any moment. At the very least they will point you to some resources that will help you. The most difficult thing to do is ask for help, but you really need to. If you don't want to call the hotline, try your local United Way office, they have many solutions that could possibly help you through the emergency until you can get back on your feet. You are in my heart and in my prayers. Reach out and let someone help you... please....
And what do you call yourself in
a marriage where the love is gone, the happiness is gone and you want out? I call it loneliness. I do not need a man to make me happy or to take care of me. My life is very happy because I got out of a loveless marriage.

Your statement makes no sense to be but then again, I am very secure in myself.
and they call that...
insurance fraud. If ever found out that you have withheld information, they will cancel your policy anyway. They are like the IRS. They have ways of finding things out. They can check your prescription records and find that docs name if he prescribed something. Once they find out a doc's name, that's it. Sorry to keep contradicting you, but insurance companies are ruthless. They want your money, but they don't want to pay out. If they find just one thing that was concealed from them, that's it. It's all over.
ok, well whatever you want to call him...but I think sm
feeling up a 8 or 9 year old and a 12 or 13 year old is a form of molestation. My mother's stepfather didn't actually rape her until she was 15. But he felt her up from the time he married her mother, when she was 7. My stepfather never did anything like that to me at all. But my creepy neighbor did. He spent a lot of time helping me learn to walk on my hands when I was 11 or 12 - I realized later it was so he could look up my shorts and so when my shirt would flop up, he could see my barely growing boobies. He moved away. Five years later he showed up at my house acting like a crazy maniac, in love with me. they get obsessed with young girls. Call him a scumbag, a pervert, a molester, or whatever. It's wrong.
Call CPS. Everybody knows they
do a terrific job and always show good judgment.  Wrong.  Oftentimes they yank kids out of stable homes because the enlightened and politically correct think that spanking is barbaric, make a quick phone call, and loving parents who are trying to discipline their children get sent to jail.  Beating is one thing and spanking is another.  I very much doubt that if the kid pulls the kind of antics you have described that his father is beating him.  Also, if the father was beating him, do you think he would have chosen "the stick" over losing hockey?  You most probably don't know what you are talking about and you should just butt out.  Different people parent differently.  Some kids need spanked, some don't.  Be thankful that your kid has a disposition such that it is not required.  Mind your own business unless you know he is being ABUSED.  The trouble you cause could be not easily undone.
Think a bit before you call CPS. You might want

to ask the kid exactly what the "stick" is before you jump to conclusions. He picked it, maybe he can handle it.

My daughter has some friends who have a son. The child, while very young, had a medical condition that was hard to diagnose, resulted in bruising of the body, some failure to thrive, etc. A neighbor thought the child was being abused, called the authorities and because at the time (10 years ago) the couple wasn't as responsible as they are now (some partying, not that great housekeeping) the child was taken away because of neglect. He and his wife were put in jail; once the other prisoners found out why he was in there they literally beat him to a pulp for supposed child abuse. He has plates in his head and face and is on permanent disability. Come to find out the child had some medical condition that was so very rare and caused the bruising and FTT. After about 6 months of a living h*ll, the authorities apologized to this guy and his wife and their child was given back to them.

Get as many facts as you can before making that call.

Call them

If your apartment is individually metered, it probably is something as simple as they read the meter wrong.  I had that happen at a job one time and the meter was 1000 and they read it as 10,000.  They corrected it quite quickly for me.

This should be something that is fairly easily corrected once you get them on the phone.

I don't think I would call it

So much as I would call it in love with one's spouse...

I do feel that if my husband and I divorced or were otherwise separated, I'd be completely lost, like I were missing a part of my body...a very important part. He is honestly my other half, I know no matter what happens, he will be there. It's wonderful to have someone that you know is coming home to you every day after work. To have someone to hash things out with, bounce ideas off of...and it's even better cause you're both on the same page, wanting the same things out of life.

It's funny cause my husband and I talked about the "what ifs" this weekend...what if we got divorced? what if one of us died? I couldn't imagine living my life without my husband. I love him and wouldn't want to go on without him...

What else would you call them
Making up cutesy little names for body parts is just silly. Especially since we don't do it for other parts of the body like the arms, legs, etc. Tell it like it is. So what if the girls goes up and says I have a vagina or I have a penis, their kids and their learning. Calling it anything else is almost like your hiding it and embarrassed that you have one. As MTs we should not be embarrassed when the word vagina or penis is mentioned.
call the
I would contact cesar milan from that show because he has a whole compound of pit bulls and likes to rescue them.
