regular basis 3-4 x a year, have an evening out or bull session at one of their houses/apartment, the other I email though she actually lives closer about 2.5 hours away. Every summer I say I will try to go and visit her but have not made it as yet and have not seen her for about 6 years. She has a small farm and lots of animal so hard for her to visit. The other 2 still live where we grew up and where my family is, so obviously I see more of them. We email and talk on the phone at least once a month if not more.

I'm fairly new
to personals sites. Most of the people I've dated before were coworkers, old high school friends, etc. Thanks for the suggestion--I haven't heard of speed dating in my area, however. Just wanted to see about a support group for those who get dumped many, many times. If this happened to someone I knew, I'd advise her to just throw in the towel!
fairly new student
Hello all! I am a fairly new student of MT.I am going through M-TEC. Anyone else going through the same school??? I would greatly appreciate any and all suggestions to help me out in my journey. I am sure that there are many of you out there who have some good suggestions on MT studying, finding words, answers to questions and so on. Thanks in advance!
I'm now doing fairly physical labor
for my job, and my body likes it better than being locked in a chair 40+ hours a week. I did have shoulder pain for a couple of months that worried me, but that's gone now. Sitting in a chair all those hours is not good for you - we weren't designed for it. It took me quite a while to figure out exactly where my worst pain was, and it turned out to be coming from right next to one of my ischial tuberosities, probably from an inflammed bursa irritating the sciatic nerve. But everybody's pressure point could be different.

It's one thing if you work in an office and have other duties in the mix, even just delivering reports or whatever, but it's not natural to do only one thing like they make factory workers do. Currently the worst pain I have is from my long commute, SITTING in the car.
Seizures are fairly common in Springers.
But what is the age of onset? Usually if age of onset is after 5 years, it is something other than epilepsy. But in a very young dog, it probably is epilepsy. A friend of mine has a Australian shepherd (named Major) that was having multiple grand mal seizures a day. Medicine helped, but what made a big difference for her was changing the dog's food to Canidae. Of course it's not in place of medication, but the dog went from multiple seizures a day before medication to 1 seizure a week with medication (may have had to add a second med, not sure), but then changing to Canidae improved him to 1 seizure in 6 months! She also has a Pembroke corgi (named Minor) who alerts them to each seizure before it hits their Australian shepherd.

She named her dogs Major and Minor - what a nut. :oD

I have a fairly new HP printer and I have plenty of paper in it but it always think it is out.

I adjust the paper but it keeps saying this. Seems to be an ongoing problems.  I can hear it drop on to the paper but it doesnt pull it.

I've always been in fairly good shape (ski, bike, etc.) But - sm
there are some people I skate with who are heavy and skate just fine. One girl in particular is actually obese, but is an amazing skater & dancer.... very flexible, too. Unfortunately she has chronic ankle problems that have kept her off skates for the past couple years, so she bikes, instead. One skater has only one leg... has a fake one made to fit his inlines, and he goes like the wind... I sure can't catch him! :)
I quit (I am still fairly young, so only smoked 8 years), but
I feel so much better. Even if someday I get lung cancer despite having quite, I am thankful to not wake up coughing every morning and to have clothes that don't stink and to be able to tell my kids not to smoke without being a hyprocrite. I can tell them why I quit. Mostly, I just feel better for the time being and that is enough. Plus, I save A LOT of money because cigarettes were darned expensive in Washington state.
I had surgery about 1-1/2 years ago and have a fairly long abdominal scar. I see now I am getting
a sore knot in 1 spot underneath the skin.  My scar actually is hypertrophic so have had a lot of problems with it.  Any suggestions.  I am not enthused about cortisone shots in it.

I have relatives in fairly rural Maine who never lock, and I feel totally safe there. nm
