The two of you just find different things important. Keeping track of details is important to you, but obviously it is not to your friend, or she would "choose" to make it better.

Why should she change for you? Would you reduce your standards for her? Maybe it's just time to call it a day. It obviously distresses you to continue the friendship, and that's not good for you or her.
