but I would think it would be easiest on the cat to have the quickest, surest procedure all at once and live out his remaining time as a Manx look-alike (which is quite cute), but hopefully the wound would heal faster and the cat would be more comfortable sooner.

Just my thought. A lot would depend on what advice the vet was giving me.

- Agree with losing tail. An old cat just tends to walk around, not much jumping or - other major activities. Good luck.
