boxes in order to continue getting your local channels then. I believe you can get a coupon on-line for $50 off or something. Research before you buy as some brands supposedly work better than others.

You have to have converter, otherwise
TV will not work. Digital TVs only work with cable, DSL. Antenna will do you no good anymore.
I blieve you need to get the converter box -sm
look on line for digital converter or something like that, they had $50 coupons for it for the longest time. The biggest antenna in the world won't help you w/o the converter box. Or if you want to solve the problem another way, go out and buy a digital TV, you can get a very nice flat screen for $250. My daughter has the only digital TV in the house, a very nice Insignia, was about $220, 19" screen, weighs about 5-10 pounds, light as a feather.
I'm pretty sure OP has a converter box
You STILL need a good antenna to get free TV, even with a converter box.

If you have a digital TV, you need a VHF/UHF antenna, no converter box....sm
If you do not have a digital TV, you need a coverter box and a VHF/UHF antenna.

And in both cases you have to do a channel re-scan.
