ask them what their hobbies are

Remember the majority of women are given custody of their children. When you ask him what his hobbies are and he embarassingly spits out "I've coached Little League for 6 years (or other sports) he is probably a good guy. The ones with kids who tell you about their sports/vacations/ect that exclude children are usually losers. Another good sign is when he has a professional job but his apartment looks like a small dorm room. His $ is going to his children.
Within 5 minutes of conversation you can usually
what type of man/father he is.

Please everyone do not chime in with all the losers you know that coach Little League. I'm just making a generalization.

I'm with ya on all the stupid lines they give. Have you thought about trying to meet someone older?
I really can't stand men my age (31) for the most part. I really feel more comfortable around men in their late 40s/50s/60s. I never need to "defend" why I can't talk or give them attention. They seem to understand responsibility way more then men my age. The only exception are military men/vets my age!

Hobbies

Do you have any hobbies?  (and I don't mean this board - ha ha ha)  And, do you have time to do them.

Just curious.  I do quilting and cross stich, but I find I'm having less and less time to work on them.  Wonder what all of you do out there for fun.

My hobbies
I like to garden, cross stich, and read but I am finding I have less and less time to do any of them.
No hobbies or friends you say?...sm
I can't imagine my husband with no friends or hobbies. He loves to go hunting with friends. He has friends that come visit. He likes to play golf with friends too. Does he mind if you have friends or hobbies? Or does he want you to be with him all the time?
On the point of expense/hobbies - it is probably - sm
a scratch. We spend a bit on dance lessons, Brownies, school activities, trying a new thing now and then (probably have wasted at least $500 with that). They have bikes, 1 scooter, outgrew the Barbie car. My neighbor's boy (same age as my older one); he has his own tractor (riding lawn mower), a 4-wheeler quad; a go-kart, all bought used but it still adds up and now for some silly reason the dad has started letting him drive their pickup truck up and down our private road (he is only 8; dad is with him but still I think totally nuts). Kid never has a helmet on either but that is totally another issue.
Talk to OM and find out hobbies, interests, etc
