I aint speaking for every southerner...but honestly; fatback in greens, beans...lard in cornbread, fried okra, tomatos, squash...and the ultimate southern FRIED chicken...I eat healthy, too, though I do use REAL butter in potatos...I use canola oil to fry my okra, chicken, etc., but aint afraid to admit that I like it...not as much as Paula, but I do like it...and I am not speaking for every southerner, just most!
