I was in college in the 90s and I know I could have contracted the disease after I found out my partner was unfaithful with many others. It was the most devatating time of my life. I do know a lot about the disease though.

What about the studies that show that an HIV+ person can now live just as long as anyone else? I just read that. I was stunned. That is such great news! I'm wondering why, though. I'm wondering if those people take their meds regularly. If so, yes, I would talk to her about it more in depth.

But, on the other hand, if she feels great and is living her life in peace - you need to just let her be and not make her feel bad about her decision not to take them.
