Although you want what is best for your children, why do you care what others think or say. If you don't want to participate in PTO, do not do it. The nonsense that goes on with adults is beyond belief. Been there, done that, and will never do it again. Do your kids really care if you are president of PTO or not? I doubt it. They don't even know what PTO means or what it is for.

I have a 19 year old athlete and a 16 year old athlete, a boy and a girl. I have been involved in school, their athletic Booster's clubs, etc. and they are all the same. This year, I will be involved in NOTHING, except for going to their games and watching my child play the sport they love. That is it!!

Stop worrying what others think or say. You can not control it. Someone will always have something to say, whether you do PTO or not!
