You are considering having a lawyer draft a letter to your senile mother? If she's senile, what good will a letter from a lawyer do?

Your relationship with your mother, or lack thereof, and her calling others about you, has nothing to do with the immediate problem that you write about. Your dentist's office and your PCP are the ones at fault, not your mother. If it bothers you that much, have the lawyer draft letters to the dentist and PCP, not your mother.

If your mother is truly senile, she cannot be held responsible for her actions. You are "almost 50 years old", so you should know that.
